It’S Day 169 of the Fascist Assault on America and there are 486 days till we give them the damn good whacking they so richly deserve. As Adam Parkhomenko observed, it’s like we’re in a “Saw” movie with elements of an old “Ernest” movie.
Hundreds of anti-Trump rallies, marches, protests, and parades were held across the country yesterday. Offering a message of hope, folks stood united against the big evil bill. There are more demonstrations planned for today and Sunday. Check your area. Show up! It’s a great way to really celebrate Independence Day.
Thousands gathered for a rally against the Trump regime at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus. It then turned into a peaceful march downtown. One chant from the crowd was: “O, H, I, O - Donald Trump has got to go!”
The nonprofit NOTUS revealed yesterday that Grampa’s US Attorney for New Jersey nominee, Alina Habba, “has quietly been under investigation by the state’s professional regulators for more than a year—putting her license to practice law at risk.” More to come on this, but one thing is clear: Habba shouldn’t be a nominated for anything.
Former President Joe Biden’s Fourth of July statement: “Today is about freedom. It’s about liberty. It’s about who we are. We’re the United States of America, and nothing like it exists in the world … we must also remember that democracy is never guaranteed—every generation must fight to maintain it.” And fight, we will.
Former President Barack Obama shared: “The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens.”
At his hatealong in Des Moines, Iowa, Thursday night to celebrate passage of The Abomination, Grampa demonstrated how he always stays classy when he said that he hates Democrats. In case you had any doubts, you worthless motherfucking senile old traitor, we hate your fucking guts so much that when you die we’re going to make it a national holiday where there will be more celebratory drinking than St. Patrick’s Day.
A recent Gallup poll showed the US is experiencing the widest partisan split in patriotism in more than two decades, with only about a third of Democrats saying they are proud to be American, compared with about nine in 10 Republicans.
How fucking ignorant are the MAGAts? At the Thursday Hatealong, 52 year old Ray Seeman, who works for a gas company, said: “I couldn’t believe it. I looked last night and I thought, ‘Boy, I don’t know if they can get this pulled off or not’ but I’m glad they did. I haven’t read the whole thing but a lot of stuff that’s tied America down might be getting undone.” Yeah, just wait you ignorant fuck, till you or someone in your family needs what isn’t there anymore, that you know nothing about, that wasn’t “tying America down.” You Gammas really are too stupid to qualify as members of the species. I hope you and yours love your dismal future. You deserve it. The rest of us don’t.
Michelle Coon, 57, a psychotherapist, said: “I had mixed feelings on the BBB but I am glad that it passed so that we continue to have the tax cuts. I used to be in social work and I would see people who are undocumented get lots of free health care that I and other Americans weren’t getting. That was very difficult to see so the idea that they might pull some of that back would be good.” She certainly is a Psycho Therapist. And also dumber than shit like all other MAGAts, since what she says she saw never happened.

Republican strategist Karl Rove said Thursday the Congress-approved spending package will heavily influence the midterm election cycle next year. “I think it’ll have a huge impact on 2026, because, remember, as these changes, particularly the Medicaid changes come into effect, they’re going to have — people are going to be losing their coverage,” Rove said during an appearance on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom.” Rove lauded the Republican-backed “big, beautiful bill,” however, cheering its new 80-hour-per-month work requirements for certain Medicaid recipients. “The able-bodied — think about it, there was an interesting study done of able-bodied people on Medicaid, and … you know what their No. 1 activity was if they weren’t working? It was watching television. And No. 2 was playing online games,” Rove told Fox News. He’s been a professional shithead since 1969; some things never change.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had a “very important and fruitful” conversation with Grampa on Friday. Zelensky said he wished Grampa a happy Fourth of July, expressed gratefulness for the military aid the United States has provided so far and reiterated Ukraine’s desire to stop the three-year war with Russia and broker a “just, lasting and dignified peace” agreement. “Today we discussed the current situation, including Russian airstrikes and the broader frontline developments. President Trump is very well informed, and I thank him for his attention to Ukraine. We spoke about opportunities in air defense and agreed that we will work together to strengthen protection of our skies. We have also agreed to a meeting between our teams.” Zelensky also said he had a “detailed conversation” with Trump about “defense industry capabilities and joint production.” “We are ready for direct projects with the United States and believe this is critically important for security, especially when it comes to drones and related technologies.” Grampa spoke with Zelensky just hours after Russia launched one of its biggest air assaults on Ukraine, pounding Kyiv and other cities with 550 drones and missiles. One person was killed and at least 24 people in Kyiv were injured in the attack, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. The big question is, will Grampa’s leaky old brain remember all this on Monday?
Grampa’s call with Zelensky came just a day after he spoke with Vladimir Putin. He said Thursday that he was “very disappointed” with the conversation he had with the Russian leader and added that he made “no progress” on securing a ceasefire in the three-year war. “I’m very disappointed with the conversation I had today with President Putin, because I don’t think he’s there. I’m just saying, I don’t think he’s looking to stop. And that’s too bad.” Putin told Trump that Russia will not back down from its military goals in Ukraine, the Kremlin said. Trump pushed Putin to end the war in Ukraine, but the Russian president dismissed the effort, according to Moscow’s readout of the call.
Mary Trump reported that she attended the Bruce Springsteen concert in Milan, Italy, Thursday night: “The crowd was extraordinary and the band was on fire. As he has been doing since the last leg of this tour began in Manchester back in May, Bruce said the following:
“The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock and roll in dangerous times. The America that I love, the America I’ve sung to you about, that’s been a beacon of hope and liberty for two-hundred and fifty years is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration. Tonight we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices, stand with us against authoritarianism, and let freedom ring.”
“Having recently elected the far-right, fascist-adjacent Giorgia Meloni, the Italian people are dealing with their own crisis of conscience. Their fervently positive reaction to Bruce’s remarks was a reminder that we are not alone and that he has the ability to reach people many others cannot reach.”
After signing the Abomination into law yesterday, Grampa Shitstain told reporters the bill’s popularity stems from it heralding the “biggest tax cuts in our country’s history.” He dismissed suggestions that the sprawling package was unpopular. ABC reported that Grampa said the only poll on the matter was a “Democrat poll.” Last week, CNN highlighted a slew of polls on the bill from the Washington Post, Pew Research Centre, Fox News, Quinnipiac University, and the Kaiser Family Foundation, showing disastrous net approval ratings of -19, -20, -21, -26, and -29 percent, respectively.
Former President Barack Obama threw shade at Grampa Sjhitstain after he made America’s birthday all about himself. On the eve of Independence Day, a buoyant Gramps was giddy with excitement as he worked the crowd at a rally in Des Moines, Iowa. The event was intended to be a bipartisan celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. However, it soon devolved into the Trump show. He ranted about hating Democrats, used an anti-Semitic term, and rolled off his recent achievements: “We’ve saved our country,” he boasted. “We got great marks in the first term, and this is going to blow it away.” “This has been a great two weeks,” he added. “Has anybody ever had a better two weeks?” Obama was keen to remind people that the USA is not a one-man show, saying: “Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in history—when core democratic principles seem to be continuously under attack, when too many people around the world have become cynical and disengaged—now is precisely the time to ask ourselves tough questions about how we can build our democracies and make them work in meaningful and practical ways for ordinary people."
Captain Befuddlement decided to tell everyone how his staged attack on the Iranian nuclear sites was Up There with other “memorable” events: “That hit ended the war. I don’t want to use an example of Hiroshima, I don’t want to use an example of Nagasaki, but that was essentially the same thing.” (FACT CHECK: the bombs did not “end the war.” Read my book “Tidal Wave” - oh, right, you’re illiterate, you senile old shitbag.) The Mayors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki had some thoughts on that BS: Hiroshima Mayor Kazumi Matsui: "It seems to me that he does not fully understand the reality of the atomic bombings, which, if used, take the lives of many innocent citizens, regardless of whether they were friend or foe, and threaten the survival of the human race. I wish that President Trump would visit the bombed area to see the reality of the atomic bombing and feel the spirit of Hiroshima, and then make statements." (Don’t hold your breath, Mr. Mayor, I’d hate to see you turn blue and die.) Nagasaki Mayor Suzuki Shiro told reporters that the use of nuclear weapons is "unacceptable" under any circumstances, given the tragic and inhumane consequences of the 1945 atomic bombings. The mayor said he does not understand what Trump meant by the comments, but said that if they were aimed at justifying the atomic bomb attacks, Nagasaki would express its profound regret as one of the affected cities. Suzuki said that against the backdrop of serious international situations, conveying the realities of the atomic bombings is essential, so that people will understand the inhumanity of nuclear weapons. He invited Trump to the city. (Again, same advice, Mr. Mayor.)
The excellent work of Grampa Shitstain and Elmo in gutting the National Weather Service was on display in Texas: After severe flooding in non-evacuated areas in Texas has left at least 24 dead with dozens more missing, including several young girls at a summer camp, Texas officials are blaming their failure to act on a faulty forecast by Grampa’s new National Weather Service gutted by cuts to their operating budget and most experienced personnel. At a press conference last night, one official said: “The original forecast we received on Wednesday from the National Weather Service predicted 3-6” of rain in the Concho Valley and 4-8” of rain in the hill country. The amount of rain that fell in these locations was never in any of their forecasts. Everybody got the forecast from the National Weather Service. They did not predict the amount of rain that we saw.” For those unaware of this event, here’s AP: “Months worth of heavy rain fell in a matter of hours on Texas Hill Country, leaving 24 people dead and many more unaccounted for Friday, including more than 20 girls attending a summer camp, as search teams conducted boat and helicopter rescues in fast-moving floodwaters. Desperate pleas peppered social media as loved ones sought any information about people caught in the flood zone. At least 10 inches of rain poured down overnight in central Kerr County, causing flash flooding of the Guadalupe River. Authorities said 237 people had been recued so far, including 167 by helicopter. The missing children were attending Camp Mystic, a Christian camp along the Guadalupe River in the small town of Hunt. Elinor Lester, 13, said she and her cabin mates had to be helicoptered to safety. A river gauge at Hunt recorded a 22 foot rise in about two hours. The gauge failed after recording a level of 29 and a half feet” More rain and flooding is expected today. Grampa Shitstain was seen dancing on the balcony of the White House last night celebrating the latest round of cuts in the Big Bad Bill that just became law so billionaires and corporations can have huge tax cuts. He finally posted this pile of steaming shit this morning on Lies Anti-Social: “Our Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, will be there shortly. Melania and I are praying for all of the families impacted by this horrible tragedy. Our Brave First Responders are on site doing what they do best. GOD BLESS THE FAMILIES, AND GOD BLESS TEXAS!” He has no bottom.

When trump visited the USS Arizona Memorial during his first maladministration, he was totally bored not even ten minutes into the tour and couldn’t wait to leave. But the next day while on the way to Hickam AFB, he stopped to tour the trump Tower hotel in Waikiki and was there for over an hour…priorities, priorities…the only thing that interests trump is money, so a trip to Hiroshima and Nagasaki to absorb a history lesson is truly casting pearls before a swine.
It's reported that Iran has hacked the WH computers. Do tell. I imagine there's a lot of hyperventilating going on along with a lot of explanation prep, flat out denial, or claims of AI run amok. And the GOP eunuchs are all home, hiding from their constituents. I hope there is a tell-all re: the Epstein Files and revelations about chatter about TACO behind his back. That would keep the sound and fury coming and keep it in-house. The less any of them come out of their bunkers, the happier we can be. Perhaps their acid reflux problems will become as serious as the ones they've given us.
The flooding in Texas and loss of lives are just awful, and especially that they cannot find the missing child campers. SC and NC may encounter similar devastation this weekend. Have to rely on private charities and luck from here on out. Thinking good thoughts for the children and all the families affected.
