The Flying Gilded Bordello will be Trump's ride back and forth to the Gaza Riviera to check on development progress. Qatar, the Saudis, and some others are waiting to see if the development funding comes from Jared Kushner's outfit that received 2B from the Saudis and doesn't seem to have committed it to any project yet. So now, in addition to praying for lightning on the fairway, I must consider summoning another historical loss of a plane to the insatiable Bermuda Triangle.

As for the SCOTUS showing enlightenment on Thursday, that's going to be a long shot because of the conflation of purity and bigotry as the guiding principle of five of them at any given time. Last week I sent Chief Justice Roberts a letter encouraging him to read and ponder the 14th Amendment again because I was sure it had been awhile for him. I doubt he ever read it, but boyoboyo, was it fun writing it.

And, yes, indeed, we must do a better job of explaining civics and government to the young and other still uneducateds. We won't be able to do it in schools because they will be forced to be the new propaganda funnels, but we can do it through media influencers while there's still a little time. I'm encouraged every time a prominent person steps up and reinforces the truth about our laws and Constitution.

(I am so grateful my homeroom teacher, a Navy vet of the Korean conflict, encouraged us to always "question humbly, challenge boldly, and know that you're never truly cornered if you'll just look up because when your adversary looks up to see what you see, you have a chance to make a move.")

JB's executive order just underlines the basic rules of privacy protection for all medical data - so it should not be something that rfk can just wave a wand and get access to from the Medicare or Medicaid databases. Now that his apparent backtracking is to make the program "voluntary", it diminishes any data you might get to make it statistically irrelevant and useless. So you start with mendacity, and then in order to make it plausible you resort to stupidity - pretty much standard operating procedure for this regime. (e.g. The Art of the Kneel)

Remember when conservatives said that the reason there were "open borders" was because immigrants would vote for dems? Projection - as always - they are admitting what they are doing, or planning to do, like bring in racist South Africans to boost their voter base.

I had a deaf cat but that didn’t slow her down. Hope same was true for Mr. boggles. Looks like a sweetheart. I know there are a few cracks but we need a calamity in the MAGAt world. I’m afraid that those watching others get their lives turned upside down, are just basking in the glory of chump sticking it to “others.” You and others tread in the muck every day, be careful you don’t catch the god-awful disorders that are swirling like a nuclear cloud. Take care…

One of these giant Swasticars was parked in my gym parking garage taking up a whole lotta space. However, the owner had removed the Tesla logo on the back and replaced it with giant letters saying “Toyota”. We were all fooled.

From the Department of He's scraping the Adult Industry performers. I heard through a friend in Burbank, that Ellen is offering millions to Adult Performers to have babies, including former ones.

Also, you need someone to clean up your copy.

That's another fine post, TC. I'm more impressed with your reporting chops all the time. Too bad the news keeps getting worse.

I'm not happy at all about this plan of giving protected status to white South Africans, and I'm glad that my Episcopal Church has back away from providing resettlement services from them. Is there evidence that they're White Supremacists, or is that an assumption? I wouldn't be at all surprised, but before I start making that argument, I'd like to be sure. TIA
