I'd love to see that car chase. Sucker for beautiful women in Red SLs taking corners on two wheels and then having a smoke at an exquisite bar without a hair our of place or hands shaking. Vroom. "I like my women cool and whiskey strong."
That will be the least of her problems soon. "Oxonian" is the British term for what we call "An Oxford accent." In screenplays, you try to use as few words as possible to cram in the most info, so using one instead of two is useful. As regards the smoking, this was written 32 years ago.
Keep it rolling TC. 😁👍
Very exciting
Despite my having to look up boulangerie, you're on a roll.
A bit of "local colour." :-)

I Laughed Out Loud!
I love the dialog, really clever and memorable and - you do awesome chase scenes! What's an Oxonian accent? Oxford?
You are really good it this. Keep it coming!
Oh, P.S. Anne smokes too much, lol.

Thanks. I get that cigs weren't as frowned upon back then. I lived through more than a few bars in the 70's. I'm surprised my lungs still work.
I can't wait to see where you take this. And how it all ties together.
