NEW CAT TREES? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' NEW CAT TREES!

Feline Friday once again falls on a Saturday.

The new trees (With Sweetie deeply engaged in studious avoidance):

So, two weekends ago when we cleared things out of the house (leaving very damn little behind - that’s what happens when one clears out the possessions of a person who had been well on the way to hoarder status), the organizer doing the job convinced me that the cat trees in the house really had to go (she was right). The next day, faced with accusatory looks from the Thundering Feline Herd over their world being turned upside down, I got on Amazon, found cat trees on closeout sale, and ordered three. Two came within a day, the third took five days to arrive.

Sam becomes the first to give in and give it a try:

As KarenRN - who has assembled a similar tree - can attest, these were not easy to figure out and get together, even with instructions. About an hour or so each, even with knowing (somewhat) what I was doing with number two.

And then for the next two days, the response was “New cat trees? New cat trees?! We don’t need no stinkin’ new cat trees!” (with apologies to “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre”)

Sweetie discovers she likes the “cup.”

Gradually, the trees have become populated, though there are several votes in favor of the new full-size bed that will arrive this coming week (I got it so they can all sleep on it and leave some room for me).

Even the elusive Phantom has discovered to top platform of one tree and made it her own.

So, I think about it and write it, you like it enough to read it. How about adding “subscribe” to that? Only $7/month or $70/year (saving $14).
