As much as I am not a big fan of the bloated monstrosity of a conglomerate that Disney has become, I give them credit for standing up to DeSantis and the other slobbering idiots that are threatening to bite the hand that feeds millions and millions of dollars into the state coffers in Flori-duh. Disney has billions of $$$ to hire swaths of lawyers to challenge any legal tricks that the GQP cabal in Dumbassistan can come up with, or better yet, just drop hints of moving the Disney Empire elsewhere and the yokels in Tallahassee will start howling en masse…
They also just negotiated a new contract with their service workers, with an $18/hour starting wage. That will be a spanner in the works to the GOP's battle about the minimum wage down there.

Disney/Reedy Creek Bill sponsor was our local Florida House Rep who DeSantis is pushing to be the next president of Florida Atlantic University !
His qualifications: made millions in the gambling/gaming industry before become a politician, called a school board member he disliked a “whore”, accused local school board employees of “child abuse” which cops proved wrong as photos/ “evidence” were staged by Fine supporter, got into a snit/spat with Special Olympics ! because they didn’t invite him to a fundraiser, threatened to shut down UCF, state’s largest university+++

I have been doing novenas for Ron to trip over his hubris! But this is even more than I could have hoped for!!! He was so focused on one set of - rats that he completely missed the one with the really big ears--the one squeaking out "touche, touche"!!! Brilliant move. Will go down in perpetuity!!

Naples /West; I-4/Central; Pan Handle; Tallahassee: Jax /East Coast. Underlaying/ overlaying these geographical areas are 1. rural/urban divides and 2.relocated retiree/local &immigrant service economy divides. There is a diversity here that even we who live here " in our cut-offs and flip flops" often fail to see.
Much easier to sum us up with the one, slovenly, big- bellied , open carry, open container dumb white guy symbol.
