Today, the Census Bureau has released the official data of the 2020 Census that will be used for the decennial reapportionment of the U.S. House of Representatives. The data will flesh out the who, what and where of the 331,449,281 people who live in the United States. The files will show how the ethnic, racial and voting-age makeup of neighborhoods have shifted over the past decade. It is the data most state legislatures use to redraw political districts for the next 10 years.
You stated it eloquently TC, I have been worried about this since well before the last election, I knew that if it was sent to the House, the clown would be reelected, those were the numbers then and they are still today. We came so close, so very close to loosing our country that if you are not very worried about it, seriously worried then you are either not paying attention or are complicit in it. Yes' I had been away for a short time and then when I returned I read some long unusual streams of consciousness and I was so lost?! Lots of discussions about trolls , Russians, and some other crazy tangents.... hmm?! Thanks
Everything you say, TC, is true and clear, and terrifying. Feels like a punch in the gut. I am reading Alexander Vindman's, "Here, Right Matters", and wonder if we haven't managed to get to "There" where it doesn't. The stories of his family's escape from the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, his grandparents escapes before them - where the heck do we all escape to? And the recent piece by Greg Olear with Lincoln's Bible strongly (and very convincingly) suggesting that tRump has been a confidential informant (CI) for our governnent for decades, ratting on other mafia crooks (his competition?), so he has federal protection, and thus the FBI could not (or would not?) out him on his own criminal mob dealings (with Russia primarily) before the 2016 or the 2020 election. Russia has very successfully invaded our country. Where are our own "well regulated militias" to fight this Soviet Republican Party? God (sure hope there is one), help us all.
Reminds me of Lawrence of Arabia and Feisal Hussein going through the mountains to come up behind the British who were protecting the port of Aqaba, with eyes and artllery facing out to sea-- not imagining what was coming up behind them. Thanks for the sobering "rear-flank" scenario. We need to pay more attention.
