The bad news is that this circus is a colossal waste of time.

The good news is that it is so transparently stupid that it just may move more Republicans toward a rational middle.

( I wish Friend had not been in the Daytona Beach office. We are "road kill" already here in Florida. We do not need Friendly's fire!!!)

All of this makes me remember the last scene of one of my all time favorite movies, Little Big Man. In that scene, 121 year old Jack Crabb is last seen just shaking his head in weariness from all of the strife he has witnessed in his long life. He just hangs his head and waves his interviewer away because he is just so very tired of it all. Call me Jack Crabb.

Hope Dems keep vocal about this freak show. The "believers" will keep on believing, but people who actually look & comprehend how truly ridiculous these shows are just might wise up.

Are there repubs who actually believe and comprehend, my two sisters gave up on the crap years ago…

I didnt specify Repubs, Jeri!! There is a slight possibility there are maybe independents - or even the ones who didnt bother to vote, that might actually wake up & smell the roses. Very slight possibility!

TC, this was just what was needed

after another week of the conservative SCOTUS and

their puzzled, not sure about student loans - note Thomas had

nothing to say, he worked his butt

off and carried heavy student loans,

unlike his 4 other friends(?) - and

the shite in NC. And more even

stupid stuff about the FBI in regard

to the search warrant for Trump’s

estate and the bullshit about J6!

Whenever you move into a new

place (administration), you should

should always clean house. Start

at the top and work your way

down. Be sure and check the

kitchen cabinets carefully. You

never know what's been left behind.

This photo of Jordan you have? I

can't help myself tonight. He looks

just like a slightly more evolved

Neanderthal. His protruding brow

and little gavel.

As for the 3 "former" FBI stooges.

21 years is really a lot former and

he doesn't know what a smart phone is.🤓

Thanks again Tom. First time I've

read laughed all week.

Says it all…retired in 2002!?!? What does this dimwit fraud know about the workings of the FBI during trumps reign of disaster? Couldn’t they exhume super perv j Edgar to testify?

The D's have been on offense not just here, but everywhere, putting the R's back on their heels to fight amongst themselves. You love to see it!

In that nutty classroom called the House Floor it's easy to see which ones did their homework. Jordan is a one-trick wrestler who thinks that turning up the volume is a take-down and shaking his fist is an escape. The Dems have put both his shoulders on the mat, and he should just get up and walk away whining, as is his wont.

Never crossed my mind to be a Repub, not since I heard a John Bircher celebrate the murder of JFK. Always been for the underdog. Even when repubs pretend to be, they just sound like privileged whiners.

I never really ever thought of being a Republican, but I used to love saying that around Republicans, for the fact it would *always* hit their "on" switch.

Forgive me for making this comparison, Mel Brooks who brought us Blazing Saddles and The Producers could not have created in his wildest scenarios the taxpayer funded (talk about payroll cheats) sh!+ show that is being conducted in ‘da house’ on our dime!

Dr. Mengele...is that next? Your review of the MAGA insanity is something most of us couldn't have imagined a few years ago. But now we should not underestimate the MAGA potential for cruelty.

Absolutely right. As a bunch of commenters over at the Bulwark this week, before 2016 they used to wonder how things could have gone the way they did in Germany in the 30s, but since 2016, they see exactly how they went the way they did then.
