Generous spirited love is not what the control freaks on the right are known for, but perhaps some of those magas social evolution will come in time. For instance, I am seeing an increasing number of grandparents wheeling their mixed race and sometimes handicapped grandkids around in strollers. And I have known some whose sharp bigotry was dulled by a toddler or two.
