As noted above several times, he IS a criminal. I would submit that he's a criminal on the order of a Mafia mob boss (one not very smart, but savvy in the way narcissists are in knowing how to draw moths to their flame) and that the collection he will assemble to do his bedding will be far worse than just "fools" - they'll be criminals as well. That's how the Mafia is run, right? It's a pyramid with a Don at the top and a bunch of thugs doing his bidding, all knifing each other in the back in order not to get knifed in the back themselves (not dumb, but maybe just wily). I think all of them are soulless. I think DOJ and the Select Committee need to regard them as "armed (with lawyers who know how to work around laws) and dangerous" (to democracy.) I think DOJ and the Select Committee should TREAT them as they would any Mafia ring of operators and operatives. Just my two cents.

Yes, they're thugs. And also fools. Which is what makes their threat so dangerous and embarrassing at the same time.

“Dangerous and embarrassing at the same time.” That’s a polite description I feel when I am encouraged on all fronts to protest peacefully, try to engage those opposed to you in a civil manner, just ignore trolls on other sites because it’s demeaning to snarl back at them, just go with the flow because you do not want to be targeted, be glad you are not of color right now….and on and on. Embarrassing all right.

It’s beginning to make me feel dangerous. Never thought I would have a deeper knowledge of why and how brothers and sisters could take up arms against each other during the Civil War. It always has seemed preposterous to me. Now I’m wondering when the current civil war will earn capital letters making it an improper proper noun.

I loathe Trump. I loathe even more the Kool-aid the real planners have mixed up. I vote poison before I feel forced to do something I’ve never considered before.

Thanks for your grit, integrity, and practical honesty, TC.

Salud to your new book release.
