As noted above several times, he IS a criminal. I would submit that he's a criminal on the order of a Mafia mob boss (one not very smart, but savvy in the way narcissists are in knowing how to draw moths to their flame) and that the collection he will assemble to do his bedding will be far worse than just "fools" - they'll be criminals as well. That's how the Mafia is run, right? It's a pyramid with a Don at the top and a bunch of thugs doing his bidding, all knifing each other in the back in order not to get knifed in the back themselves (not dumb, but maybe just wily). I think all of them are soulless. I think DOJ and the Select Committee need to regard them as "armed (with lawyers who know how to work around laws) and dangerous" (to democracy.) I think DOJ and the Select Committee should TREAT them as they would any Mafia ring of operators and operatives. Just my two cents.

TC, So many people are warning of the coming civil war and overthrow of American democracy, yet it seems no one is listening. It is almost like Stalin allegedly ignoring all the warnings about Hitler's impending invasion. Do we know if there is a plan in Washington to pass the voting rights bills? Even if Sinema and Manchin are forced to vote to end the filibuster to raise the debt ceiling in December, can they be counted on the vote for the voting rights bills?
