I've already got Going Downtown, fantastic book for anyone interested in an in-depth review of the Vietnam War.

Clean Sweep continues to impress. I'm torn between not wanting to put it down and wanting to ration my reading to extend the enjoyment. History books aren't always fascinating to read, this one is.

My nephew’s dog recently noshed on his partial denture. Stella had attended doggie college twice. I think he should get a refund on her tuition ! 🐾🦷

this is pretty funny. I have to have a denture re-fitting in half an hour or so.

synchronicity? or maybe just the nature of dentures? both??

I am ordering one for my husband who is a Vietnam war veteran. I will probably read it first!

My last two uppers were goners last April. I’m still adjusting. My dentist is smart and beautiful. It helps. I’ll check out Going Downtown as soon as I’m done with the Untold History of the United

States. Thanks for the notice.

Uncle Sam gave my dad dentures when they invited him into the Pacific in WWII. His name and serial number were printed on the roof of the upper denture for ID purposes. He showed up at basic training with a toothache, and the Army Air Corps dentist took all his teeth saying toothaches and dental problems were a liability in combat. Dad never took those dentures out except for cleaning and proudly wore them to his grave 32 years ago. An example of the government getting it right.

I confess that before I saw this BARGAIN HUNTERS advertisement, I was going to email out of concern. Was your absence due to the computer or SOMETHING ELSE? How many can write about their bridgework with such panache? You left me laughing. Wish you had a picture of yourself without front teeth. I would bid on that one. Cheers!

a problem I've had since I was around six months old (according to my parents). I'm thinking it's probably been something I was born with. it only sucks when you let it. or at least until you start hallucinating.

in the interest of disambiguation, I'm talking about sleeplessness.
