In case you don’t get enough good stuff reading TAFM, the Atlantic Magazine is setting up some new newsletters, and right now (hoping to snag you in as a subscriber to the best magazine in America, IMNSHO) they are offering free subscriptions to these new newsletters until the end of November.
Subscribed to the first two. Had read The Russia Rules previously and he is exactly right. Putin will not be happy until he has reclaimed Eastern Europe for the Russian Empire. It is quite discouraging to read comments on HCR from people that say let Russia have these countries, what do we care in USA, they don't concern us. "a quarrel in a far away country between people of whom we know nothing".
Molly sounds interesting.
I wish I could afford everything. I can't. The Atlantic is way over my limit. I subscribed to TNR because it was $10 USD. Right now I have 30 unread emails from last week, all news that I simply cannot bring myself to read.
If it's not your job to read the news, reading it is something best done some other time. :-)
With what you said, I strongly recommend Tom Nichols' newsletter, Peacefield. He's the kind of conservative I thought was extinct. A professor at the Naval War College, and also just an interesting guy.
I already subscribe to The Atlantic and signed up for and read several of the newsletters.
Me, too. But thank you TC for thinking of us!
Same here, TC, but I appreciate your input on the writers and their newsletters.

Thank you, TC. You are such a compatriot, gentleman, and a scholar.
Saw the email earlier and will go subscribe now.
Thank you! I follow Molly on Twitter, so will definitely sign up for hers.
Awesome! Thanks!
I subscribe to the Atlantic, but ignoted the newsletters. Will take a second look now. Thanks TC
I love your new word, “ignoted.” Means to me, I read it, then ignored it.
it really is a typo, but I like the way you identified it and defined it.
No. No, I'm sure I meant it to be a brilliant new word.
