Elon Musk, legendary defender of “universal values” like “free speech” turns out to be Elon Musk, money-grubbing little piece of shit.
Over the past week, people have been surprised that Elon Musk went all in on the classic conservative antisemitic trope of blaming George Soros for everything, tweeting “Soros reminds me of Magneto” late Monday, referring to the X-Men villain, also a Holocaust survivor.
It turns out this is all because Soros sold his Tesla stock.
It turns out that over the course of 2022, Soros’s family office, Soros Fund Management, bought up stock 132,000 shares in the electric car maker. Then in the first quarter of 2023, the fund capitalized on Tesla’s impressive 68 percent jump in value and sold off its entire Tesla stake.
That’s not how things are supposed to work in the Tesla Cult. People are to hold their stock as they bow to the amazing genius leadership of Elon Musk.
This is not the only time that Musk’s business interests control his “philosophies” and political actions. He has also been criticized for being the “free speech absolutist” who said “yessir!” when the Erdogan dictatorship in Turkey demanded in the run-up to last weekend’s election that Twitter block the accounts of several leaders of the opposition parties at a time when polls had the opposition leading Erdogan. Musk defended his actions by saying his definition of “free speech” is “what the law allows” and thus by following the repressive rules against free speech of political opponents in Turkey, he was actually defending free speech in Turkey.
I am sure the fact that Space-X is in negotiations with Erdogan’s government to use Space-X vehicles to launch a series of Turkish space satellites had nothing to do with Musk’s willingness to “follow the law” regarding the opposition parties’ access to Twitter. And the fact he is in the process of obtaining additional funding for Tesla in Turkey, where the Erdogan government is deciding whether or not to give incentives to support Tesla sales there was the furthest thing from his mind when he made the decision to “go along with the laws.”
Let’s get some things straight about Elon Musk:
1. He did not “invent” Paypal. He did not “create” Tesla or Space-X.”
2. What he did was come to the United States with his portion of his dodgy Unreconstructed Afrikaner (i.e., they were active supporters of the old white supremacist regime) family’s dodgy profits from conflict gems and blood diamonds and such, made from their investments in countries affected by the late regime’s dodgy African wars.
3. He invested that money in the people who actually did invent PayPal, and created Tesla and Space-X, then took the credit, the same way Thomas Edison operated in the 19th Century. He is not the “Chief Engineer” of anything, though he was born Chief Twit.
4. He does not have Aspergers. He’s an asshole by choice, who uses Asperger’s as an excuse for his assholery.
5. Any time you have to sign a Non-Disparagement Agreement (which Tesla owners do) in order to obtain normal maintenance on the product you bought, you are not dealing with a normal company. Over half of Tesla owners report difficulty getting maintenance on their vehicles and getting cited problems successfully repaired.
Elon Musk is not a visionary genius. He’s a trust fund baby born on third base who thinks he hit a triple, who is very good at bullshitting the public.

You've put a bunch of my growing general dislike of Elon into some mighty fine points. Thanks. But this is a real home run: "Elon Musk is not a visionary genius. He’s a trust fund baby born on third base who thinks he hit a triple, who is very good at bullshitting the public." Outta the park.
So agree.
ElonMusk-rat…go f*ck yourself. While standing next to Erdogan engaged in same practice.
Salud, TC.
