Our governor, AG, and SOS Benson are three tough cookies who've pushed back against right wing dirty tricks and threats for years now. No matter what this investigation turns up, Benson is smart to showcase just what's going on with these flying rats who like to work in the dark.

We all get to see how corruption and greed feed on themselves and can't stop. Whack-a-mole... Glad to know the Michigan SOS is on it!

Some of you may have seen Joyce Vance’s advice this morn to check voter reg status on Weds,8th.⬇️

For each of us, the mantra needs to be: register, make sure you remain registered, vote, and make sure your vote gets counted. And help the people around you do the same thing. This is a great week to work on that because, after the 90th day before the election, registered voters cannot be removed from the active voter rolls. Take a screenshot to prove your status! This nifty countdown to the election clock tells us that Wednesday will be the 89th day, so make a note on your calendar to check your status, remind the people around you to do the same, and encourage those who aren’t already registered to go ahead and get it done! You can use websites like vote.gov or IWillVote.com to register and check your status. If you’re removed from the active voter rolls you can still ask for and vote a provisional ballot. But it’s a hassle to take the steps necessary to have it counted (that’s sort of the point), so make it a point to get as many people as possible to ensure they’re voters in good standing. Vote.org also provides a handy reference to help people know what their last day to register is in their state. 📣

Does that 90-day period apply in all states?

The NVRA, or “motor voter” law, plays the biggest role. It is best known for broadening opportunities for voter registration by requiring states to offer it at driver’s license bureaus and other state agencies, but another important part of the NVRA deals directly with list maintenance. It requires states to conduct list maintenance in a uniform and nondiscriminatory manner in compliance with the Voting Rights Act and prohibits the conduct of list maintenance verification activities within 90 days of an election. You can learn more about the NVRA here.

Just seeing this headline, before even reading the article, sparks in this household a resounding “GOOD!!!” Now to reading to learn.

Dan Rather‘s Substack “Steady” covers this topic today… Like the mess with the $10M donation from Egypt in 2016/2017… No shortage of political news and forces in play, then and now. And just like Trump flipped to being very pro-Egypt, now he’s supposedly pro-electric cars, says he has to be because Musk endorses him… no wonder our heads hurt. But that aside, our determination to win is fueled, with plans “Republicans for Harris” proves itself a strong and healthy ally joining us to save democracy.

Boy, the smart Nazis didn’t have anything on this crowd. The Nazis didn’t steal enough from the Jews to do as much damage as these traitorous oligarch’s are doing to the established government of the USA. They think brains, money and evil machinations will win the day. May the force say hell no. That’s us BTW

Every blue state should be looking at this. In California there are potential violations of the Business and Professions Code and Government Code.

Well, the schmucks couldn't use Cambridge Analytica anymore, so they had to do something. And the something they chose is sleazy no doubt - and should be illegal on the basis of compromising peoples' personal information - but it probably is legal in most states. It will take a maximum effort to register people and fight these sleazy tactics, and win, but we can do it..... The far-right knows this election may be the last chance they have to avoid going into the dustbin of history, so the gloves are off and the fight is on. This one (AGAIN?!) is for all the fucking marbles.....
