We like to vote early -- we have a standing order for mail-in ballots. We tuned in to Senator Booker about mid-morning, and had it on all day, sometimes sitting and watching, sometimes working around the house. So good, such a fine American. He evoked a lot of emotion is us, all of it good. I especially liked his stories about John Lewis. And while listening to Corey Booker's marathon speaking, it occurred to me that he was banishing the bad guys from my consciousness -- America was alive and well and kicking while he was telling his stories and relating the problems of various constituents. And at the end of the day we learned that Susan Crawford won the seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Today was a good day.
