This is what happens when your reputation is so bad all you can get for legal representation is the bottom-feeders who found their law licenses at the bottom of a box of Cracker Jacks.
Ya know, I’m not an attorney, nor am I a particularly deep thinker. I do, however, have a moral compass, which is something that the troglodytes in the RepubloQan sphere seem to be completely without.
I know I can say this here: What. The. Actual. Fuck?!?
'After making its way across parts of the Caribbean as a tropical storm, Hurricane Fiona intensified into a Category 1 storm just as it slammed into Puerto Rico's southern coast on Sunday. All of the territory was left without power just two days before the fifth anniversary of the devastating Hurricane María. The storm moved slowly across the island dumping upwards of 30 inches of rain, which caused catastrophic damage including landslides in some regions.'
'WCK's #ChefsForPuertoRico team—whose roots date back to our María response—prepared sandwiches ahead of the storm making landfall, and then as soon as it was safe to do so, we began cooking. Within hours, our team was providing nourishing meals from our Field Kitchen in San Juan. Now also partnering with local restaurants and food trucks, we are serving 10,000 meals a day. Our capacity will continue to grow as we establish additional kitchens in the south of the island.'

Critical food for liberated towns around Kharkiv
'After six long months of Russian occupation, the Ukrainian military liberated a large region near Kharkiv last week. WCK’s Relief Team immediately jumped in to support communities that have been living under occupation, bringing fresh food and meal kits as soon as it was safe to do so.'
'Remnants of Typhoon Merbok hit Alaska’s coastal communities
'The remnants of Typhoon Merbok hit Alaska's western coast over the weekend, bringing heavy winds and causing severe flooding. Some homes were pushed off their foundations and critical infrastructure supplying water and power was damaged. To support families, WCK has been flying water, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and supplies to communities including Golovin, Unalakleet, and Hooper Bay. Thankfully all airstrips are in use, so we've been able to reach people in need of support. '
I'm playing in a Ukrainian Song Fest this weekend; 5 community choirs, a massed choir and a tuba ensemble will be raising money for Ukraine. Many of the musicians I know have contributed directly to music related fund drives (my concert band purchased a piece that had no profit to the composer with all sales proceeds going to a Ukrainian Arts association.)
I stand in complete admiration and faith of World Central Kitchen and Chef Andres. Have urged people who are hesitant about donating to many requests coming from the political parties and suggest that WCK is such a worthy cause. Most people can identify with how urgent hunger can be. Thanks for update, fab Fern. Was just wondering if they were setting up in Puerto Rico. They have been so essential in Ukraine.
"At one point, he attempted to dissuade Dearie from implementing a point in Cannon’s order that allows the Special Master to consult with the National Archives, calling the archives a “highly politicized” organization that had affixed a trigger warning label to the Constitution, among other things." OMG! Trusty is just as off the wall as is his client!
I once spent a year among them. in fact, I was an archivist myself during that time. they're quiet, but that's part of their training. so they can better undermine the collective LIBERTY.
and you know where they work a lot of the time, don't you?
LIBRARIES!
and we know all about THOSE hellholes...it's where they groom children to be READERS.
I know that was pretty feeble in terms of actual wit, but with this half-day of promising news, I'm probably a little loopy.
TFF sure got some value for his three million, huh?
While Attorney Trusty keeps Judge Dearie entertained, El Jefe has built a secret tunnel from behind his toilet to a drainage ditch a half mile from the Wall of Maro Largese It worked for that Andy guy in that prison movie
YOU STOLE MY COOKIE JAR! YOU LIAR. DON'T BELIEVE A THING THIS PHONY SAYS. HE STOLE MY COOKIES. I HAVE LOTS OF FRIENDS IN ENCINO. NO MORE COOKIES FOR YOU TOMMY BOY.
This was one of the better days, every time I had the TV on instead of making me scream at it, and want to shoot the damn thing, it made me smile a nice deep down smile, we are going to get that fucker yet, yes indeed, you can see him slowly twisting in the wind. Having watched some of the Queen’s memorial I was reflecting on what a difference the insipid clown’s funeral will be like, there will be a lot of construction 🏗 noise while they are building the urinal large enough for all of us to use to give him the golden showers he’s so fond of. Oh yea we’ve got his number, that idiot has no idea how long our memories are, it’s pathetic really, but then, I think about the million we lost to the plague, and I go back to having that cold, cold heart 💜. 🤷♂️😎
Thanks for another good run through of ideas/events of the day. Yes, some people can invent things out of the air. Too bad their fictions are part of a real, unfolding drama in real time. The bottom feeders (as you say TC) portraying lawyers in the latest episode of "Clown Car" are providing entertainment of sorts--except it finally is not funny but tragic that we have come to this juncture in the American Experiment. BUT It looks like the Special Master is going to "master" the Clown Car crew.
Talking about cookie jar: I remember my mother had ordered one cupboard with a lock, where she could keep the cookie jar, when we moved into a new apartment. She carefully informed my older brothers about this fact. Only that one of my brothers discovered the key to the cupboard was the same as the one to his desk drawer. I was only 3 years at the time, but never forget my mothers smile when she told the story of how she found a strange key in the door to the cupboard, with a little chain hanging from it. - Some keys work, and some are just pretending to do.

Thank you, TC ! I feel as if now I can actually understand the basic issues here, and it was very muddled before. It sort of existed in a miasma of Cannon's creation. Your explication is so clear and helpful!
Until, TC, delivers his take on this BOMBSHELL, take a look at what Trump, his children and company have to look forward to thanks to New York's AG, Letitia James and her staff
'Donald Trump, 3 of his children sued for business fraud by New York AG
Lawsuit alleges $250 million fraud, seeks to bar the Trumps from serving as executives of any company operating in New York'
'The suit asks the New York Supreme Court to bar Trump, as well as Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, from serving as executives at any company in New York, and to bar the Trump Organization from acquiring any commercial real estate or receiving loans from any New York-registered financial institution for five years.' (WAPO)
'It seeks to recover more than $250 million in what James’s office says are ill-gotten gains received through the alleged deceptive practices. While the lawsuit itself is not a criminal prosecution, James (D) said she has referred possible violations of federal law to the Justice Department and the IRS.' (WAPO)
'The 220-page lawsuit, filed in New York State Supreme Court, lays out in new and startling detail how, according to Ms. James, Mr. Trump’s annual financial statements were a compendium of lies. The statements, yearly records that include the company’s estimated value of his holdings and debts, wildly inflated the worth of nearly every one of his marquee properties — from Mar-a-Lago in Florida to Trump Tower and 40 Wall Street in Manhattan, according to the lawsuit.' (NYTimes) See link below.
My thought is, I wonder how many times he looks back with longing to the days when all he was was a permanent joke in NYC, considered a small-time grifter too small for Big Time Law Enforcement to waste their time on, happily scamming the rubes with the Trump Foundation and Trump University and Trump Steaks etc., being a "star" on TV. How much easier all that was than all that presiduntin'.
TC, you are speaking directly to many NYC people and others. We knew who he was before he turned into the devil. I, among others, thought his house of lies, frauds, abuse, sexual XYZ, cons... was going to come tumbling down soon after he took office. What he got a away with...the amount he stole from us...the divisions he stoked … What this country allowed and enabled him to get away with for how long?! TC, withal, this is a great, although difficult turning point for all of us.
Tom, This time I wait for you. There have been a few other occasions in recent months that I was eager for your take. When it comes to America, its identity; the country within itself; there is no time like this one. Trump's presidential election win, while of great concern was not as obviously conclusive. Isn't this the 'To be or not to be' time for the USA? Will New York attorney general Letitia James's sweeping lawsuit against Trump, his adult children and his family business burst his bubbles, along with the Republican Party's as well as spurring consequential investigations into Black money? How many ripples will there be, how deep and how far? Is this finally the beginning of a reckoning?
I'm going to write about it later this afternoon, but the immediate takeaway is I'll bet the fools and morons will support Dear Leader against all these attacks against him. After all, he is "the most persecuted man in America - because of all I do for you."
Thank you for checking in, Tom. Your cautious and somber message was wise and painful to absorb. We must make the most of the lawsuit and everything else necessary to right the state.
Ya know, I’m not an attorney, nor am I a particularly deep thinker. I do, however, have a moral compass, which is something that the troglodytes in the RepubloQan sphere seem to be completely without.
