I saw it in the theater. First off, it’s a good movie by all technical measures. Well directed. Good cinematography. Nicely edited, tight script, and fine performances.
Reviews tried to make it sound like the movie was ambiguous in its point of view. It is not ambiguous. It has a point of view. And even though I share that point of view, this was one of the most disturbing movies I ever saw. I saw it in a packed house. And when the movie was over, there was not a word spoken. Everybody filed out in complete silence. Nobody talked in the hallway either. This is not the future we want, and yet…
This may be a film we actually need to see. Remember the time when we knew venal types but not morons might get elected. Remember when we knew schools could catch on fire but didn't think our kids would ever be fired upon. Remember when those on the right saw "reds" in every corner and now they are the reds attempting to curry favor with world dictators. Remember all that and remember that sometimes we're confronted with fight or flight situations, and we need to be prepared to do both. It's the most primal of natural laws that we disregard at our own peril. Watch the film.
Whoop tee doo. I’m ready. Though I thought Allred was crazy, but maybe we’re ready. But never discount cheating, evil Ted and the Texas trio of evil in Austin are masters…
I came very, very close to shelling out the six bucks a rental cost the other day, then decided I'd wait another month or however long it would take for me to be able to see it for nothing. from my mouth...

However, I found it weird that California and Texas had somehow joined together?
Everybody says Texas is going to go blue the next election, whenever that next election is.

Please advise
Have you seen it Tom? I want to watch it but from some things I’ve heard about it I’m afraid to watch it.
I have not, but I'm going to tomorrow night. It is scary.
