Congratulations TC, that's excellent and I now have 4 more books on the ever-growing must read list. The good news is that they all do get read. If these are like TGYC, they'll go quickly.

I was just thinking that my reading list expanded.

Congratulations! It’s so nice to see credit and accolades where it is due. It sounds like an amazing read. I don’t think I have it in me (my eyes just don’t like reading very long and I have a hard time with listening also) but will definitely recommend and purchase for anyone who comes to mind. So happy for you. From what I’ve read by you for the short time I have subscribed I know this is your life’s work. So happy for you 👏😄

Good for you buddy, while we have never met, we spent at least 3 decades in the trenches of the entertainment industry together, so I think of you like a brother. I enjoy reading your commentary because we think a lot alike. My father and his oldest brother both served in the Pacific flying TBF's for the Marine Corps. Dad was on his way back to the States to get carrier training for the attack on the main Japanese islands when the war ended. If the war had not ended when it did, I would likely not be writing this. I have often thought that the atom bombs saved his life, which in turn gave me life, go figure. My best to you and yours, this looks like the start of a great holiday season that's richly deserved.

Definitely read Tidal Wave. It wasn't the bombs that saved your dad, mine, my ex-wife's and everybody else. It was Joe Stalin keeping his promise for only the second time in his life (the first was that he would begin the Soviet 1944 summer offensive the week after Normandy, which is why the invasion didn't get kicked into the sea. The second was that he would enter the Pacific War 90 days after Germany surrendered; the Japanese had stripped their defenses everywhere else to reinforce Kyushu - had they not surrendered when they did, the Soviets would have invaded Hokkaido in September, 2 months ahead of the US, and the Japanese had nothing to stop them with in all of northern Japan.

That is quite an endorsement! Congratulations!

I have “Tidal Wave,” which is superb. Better get the others and start from the beginning. So well deserved, TC

TC, my nephew Colin is a recent nuclear engineering graduate and fascinated with WWII, partly due to my Dad's service and his own West Point father. I have just bought the quadrilogy for him for Christmas, in hard back so he can value them!! Thank you for all your incredible work!

TC! A glowing, nay amazing, review. What a moment for you, the artist, to savor after a lifetime of creating this written work of art. (“You can climb down from the scaffold, Michaelangelo, the ceiling’s done!”) Popping the cork with 4 cheers and Hip Hip Hip Hip Hooray. Really happy for you. ❤️🤍💙

It's a heady brew, being compared to Foote and Tolkien, and another reviewer compared my stuff to Samuel Eliot Morison (the official historian of the Pacific War, whose 12 volume history is considered Great Literature) and Herman Wouk. You can't take more than a sip at a time, or it'll go straight to your head.

That’s a “shivers” type accolade.

May I share this review with others in the effort to promote your literary acumen? It’s really a great review.

I love a good trilogy or quadrilogy. Many people do.

Fabulous, TC. 💜

Wonderful and richly deserved!! I am reading "Tidal Wave" between less literate tomes ("Betrayal"). Adding the other 3 to the Christmas list! Congratulations!
