Courtesy of reader Judith Swink, a little ditty I found quite witty.
Another programming note for those of you who live in Southern California and have nothing better to do with your time next Thursday night. Courtesy of Bob Hubbell who is gifting me his car service there and back, I am going to venture back into society (just pulled down the copy of Miss Manners and dusted it off for serious study this weekend) and attend the Bulwark event next Thursday in Hollywood. Should any of you be tripping the light fantastic there, look me up. Thanks to all the paid subscribers for allowing me to pay the fare.
You can support That’s Another Fine Mess with your paid subscription for only $7/month or $70/year, saving you $14.

On the Bulwark, fitting for a Navy man. Please treat us with a few pictures of TC in society. I'd love one with you holding 'Miss Manners" upside down. Know what I'm thinking, sure you do!
Have a good time, TC. As I explained, I can't join you because my oldest daughter is scheduled to deliver her second daughter (and our third grandchild) the next morning. We are on grandparents duty during the birth and recovery for my daughter.
If you get a chance to speak to Jonathan Last, please thank him for me. He may not remember me or my newsletter, but about a year and half ago, he recommended it to his readers, which brought a new group of readers to my newsletter. I frequently cite The Bulwark in my newsletter, especially Philip Rotner.
