THIS IS INTERESTING

I just got an e-mail from Substack about the blog’s performance in March

22 new Paid Subscribers. That’s nice. Now if the 34 new free subscribers and the others would reconsider, the blog would be in “Fat City,” at they say.

But more than that, what interests me is where people come from.

Originally, That’s Another Fine Mess got a good start from readers of Letters From An American. Thank you very much Dr. Richardson for the opportunity.

But that’s down now to 5 percent of new readers. Readers of other Substack blogs in the network are now half of the new readers (Hi, Bulwark people!). 20% of the new readers have just found the blog and joined, so I am doing something right. And another 20% are looking for the place on Google.

I shall endeavor to keep things interesting and thought-provoking for all of you. Thanks for being here.
