THE SHITSHOW GETS MORE SHIT
All the Serious Craziness of the past weeks is the result of Trump becoming more and more unglued as his power to claim our attention the way he has for the past ten years, his power to control the political dialogue, continues to wane. What that means is he will continue doing what no longer works as it did, in the expectation of a return to the bad old days when all eyes were on him. And unfortunately - whatever his mental state - his henchlings will continue to work at turning his craziest shit into our reality. It’s happening right now.
We have been warned.
Saturday morning, Trump woke up early to boast about his supposed popularity with American voters in a rant on Lies Anti-Social: “I HAVE JUST GOTTEN THE HIGHEST POLL NUMBERS OF MY ‘POLITICAL CAREER! While my great work on the Economy has not been fully appreciated, it will be! Things are relly Rockin’. Stopping WARS and Foreign Relations seems to be a strong suit. Also great, the Border and Stopping Crime. I predict that the Economy, with the already HIGHEST STOCK MARKET, EVER And prices com,ing down sharply from the Biden Disaster, will soon be at the top of the list. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” It is unclear what polls Trump is referring to, as multiple polls taken in November have found that Trump’s approval rating is at its lowest since the start of his second term. If you still doubt he now exists in a Separate Reality, reread the post. And realize he is surrounded by people who see it as their job to keep him happy in his delusions.
Was it only last Wednesday that he called for the arrest and execution of elected American officials for the crime—as he sees it—of fidelity to the Constitution? Yes, it really was. Only last Wednesday. It would be easy to merely note - once again - that Trump is a depraved man and a menace to the American system of government. But the outbursts of this past month are different; likely triggered by Trump’s panic over the release of files about his former friend, the dead sex offender Jeffery Epstein. But no one should treat this new phase in his aggression against democracy as just another episode in The Trump Show. Last Tuesday, while sat next to Mohammed bin Salman - credibly accused by U.S. intelligence of murdering an American journalist - Trump called Mary Bruce of ABC “insubordinate” for her questions regarding the moment - a rather telling choice of words. He then threatened to use the FCC to attack ABC. It is no coincidence that happened on Tuesday - the day the Epstein Files Transparency Act passed the House by a vote of 427–1. The next day, after it passed the Senate by unanimous consent, a humiliated Trump signed it into law.
Of course he needed as big a hit of the drug that kills his pain as possible. The drug that kills his pain inflicts pain on the rest of us - its name is Cruelty.
Also on Tuesday, six Democrats - veterans of the military and intelligence service - released a PSA reminding members of the military and intelligence services that they can refuse illegal orders. In fact, all the six did was repeat what has been the law - that refusing illegal orders is required - since 1950. It took until Jason Crow went on Fox Wednesday night for news of this to get to Trump. The result was what I call the Thursday Insanity, when he threatened the six with death for their “sedition,” with the MAGA Chorus lining up behind him. If there was ever a Red Line that had never in American history been crossed before, this was it. A declaration that his enemies are traitors deserving of death. Chaos ensued throughout the media.
In an appearance Friday morning on Fox News Radio with Brian Kilmeade, Trump responded to a question about his Thursday remarks. His response did not calm the waters; as usual he dug himself in deeper: “I’m not threating death, but I think they’re in serious trouble. In the old days, it was death. I’m not threating them, but I think they’re in serious trouble. I would say they’re in serious trouble. But in the old days, if you said a thing like that, that was punishable by death. What they said is, I mean, I don’t know about the modern day things, because, you know, modern day is a lot softer.” As usual, he’s full of shit, lying, and has things upside down and backwards.
Trump is operating from the old rule of treason - that it consists of opposition to the monarch. This is why Treason is the only crime mentioned in the Constitution, where it is defined as adhering to the nation’s enemies, and requires witnesses. That’s because the Founder knew that had the American Revolution failed, they would have been the ones charged with treason to the person of Geoprge III.
We all know that back in 2020 during the George Floyd protests, that Trump wanted to turn the military loose on the demonstrators. He still wants to do this and has taken steps to do so with the National Guard deployments to cities in recent months. He wants the order to shoot - an order manifestly illegal - to be obeyed.
Over the weekend, Trump continued his war against those who believe in standing by the Constitution, going on a fresh Truth Social rampage against Democrats after Republican lawmakers pleaded with him to dial down the rhetoric. He reposted comments from MAGAts supporting his words. “Go get all those traitorous sons of bitches for sedition at the very least. These pompous traitorous communists should be impeached and prosecuted.” “The Democrats’ video appears to be an active call to action to our military members to defy or take out our duly elected President. We can’t just laugh it off Conservative’s. We have to stop tolerating the DemSurrection. We really need to see some legal action against the Democrat Domestic Terrorist party.” “Federal law is crystal clear - you don’t get to tell the U.S. military to ignore the Commander-in-Chief.” JD Vance weighed in with this tweet, “If the president hasn’t issued illegal orders, them (sic) members of Congress telling the military to defy the president is by definition illegal.”
This morning, Trump’s henchlings took a new step in making his threats about charging sedition into reality.
The Defense Department threatened in an announcment this morning to recall Senator Mark Kelly to active duty so he can face court-martial proceedings. This direc tly follows Trump’s comments to Kilmeade on Fox Radio Friday, where he denied he was threatening anyone despite his posts, but said there should be consequences and he believed the Pentagon was looking into it. The statement that the Department had received “serious allegations of misconduct against Captain Mark Kelly, USN (Ret.)” is Pistol Pete saying “Aye, aye, sir!”
The statement went on to say that a “thorough review of these allegations has been initiated to determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures.” It went on to say the matter will be handled “in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality.”

Just heard Comey and James cases have been dismissed!
How many times do these Morons have to be reminded that "I was just following orders" isn't a defense?
