THE RULE IS THERE ARE NO RULES
There are 291 days to the mid-terms. The truth is that today is worse han yesterday but not as bad as tomorrow will be. I wish I could say otherwise. Do note that the Vulgarian’s finger in the photo is short.
The UAW is standing behind factory worker TJ Sabula, who was suspended Tuesday after a tense exchange when Trump cursed him, saying “fuck you” twice, and “flipped the bird” after Sabula called him a “Pedophile protector.” Laura Dickerson, UAW’s vice president and director of the Ford department, wrote early Wednesday on the social platform X: “ The autoworker at the Dearborn Truck Plant is a proud member of a strong and fighting union – the UAW. He believes in freedom of speech, a principle we wholeheartedly embrace, and we stand with our membership in protecting their voice on the job.” Sabula identifies as politically independent and never voted for Trump but has supported other Republicans. A GoFundMe page for Sabula has raised over $150,000 as of Wednesday morning.
Go fuck yourself in your face, judge: In a remarkable new filing late Monday night, the Trump administration told U.S. District Judge James Boasberg to, in essence, pound sand in the original Alien Enemies Act case. Boasberg had ordered the Trump administration to come up with a proposal for how to provide due process after the fact to the Venezuelan men deported to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act. Boasberg offered examples of what the government might propose, like remote hearings from Venezuela, where the men were ultimately repatriated, or allowing the men to return to the United States for court proceedings. After asking for and being granted an extension, Maladministration II refused to make any proposals to Boasberg, instead re-litigating his initial order and claiming that its own operation to remove President Maduro and his wife from the country now made it impossible to conduct remote hearings or negotiations for the men to come to the United States. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a new sworn declaration filed in the case: “In my considered judgment as the Nation’s chief diplomat, I assess that introducing the matter of the disposition of the 137 class members into these discussions at this time would risk material damage to U.S. foreign policy interests in Venezuela. This assessment holds true whether the proposal is to transport class members to a U.S. jurisdiction or to arrange remote hearings from Venezuela.” They’ve adopted the “Fuck you” approach originally advocated by Emil Bove.
It gets worse: There was more “Fuck you!”courtroom drama unfurled on the docket Monday, as Lindsey Halligan - the disqualified acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia - joined up with Pam Bondi and Todd Blanche to write a furious brief punching back at U.S. District Judge David Novak, himself a Trump appointee. Halligan, Bondi, and Blanche responded with a scathing 11-page brief that accused Novak of not knowing what he’s talking about and abusing his office. “In violation of the Rules of Criminal Procedure and the principle of party presentation, the Court has initiated a sua sponte inquisition into whether it should strike Ms. Halligan’s title from the Government’s signature block. The order launching this quest reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of Judge Currie’s orders dismissing the indictments in United States v. Comey and United States v. James, and flouts no fewer than three separate lines of Supreme Court precedent on elementary principles like the role of federal courts, the effect of district court rulings, and the nature of our adversarial system.” The brief went on to accuse Novak of a “gross abuse of power,” and said that the court that ruled Halligan was ineligible for office “did not purport to enjoin Ms. Halligan from continuing to oversee the office or from identifying herself as the United States Attorney in the Government’s signature blocks.” It went on: “The Court’s thinly veiled threat to use attorney discipline to cudgel the Executive Branch into conforming its legal position in all criminal prosecutions to the views of a single district judge is a gross abuse of power and an affront to the separation of powers. The bottom line is that Ms. Halligan has not ‘misrepresented’ anything and the Court is flat wrong to suggest that any change to the Government’s signature block is warranted in this or any other case.” All Rise News’ Adam Klasfeld wrote: “In this document, Halligan - fully backed by the top DOJ officials - characterizes Trump-appointed Judge Novak’s order as an ‘inquisition.’ They call it an ‘insult,’ the judge’s mere ‘fixation,’ ‘gross abuse of power,’ and a ‘cudgel’ against the executive branch. They accuse him of making ‘rudimentary error.’ To put it mildly, this isn’t the type of language one typically sees by a party addressing a judge.” This is a giant FUCK YOU on the part of Maladministration II.
And worse yet. Podcast host Joe Rogan noted there were similarities between the Nazi Gestapo and Trump’s use of the ICE thugs. During an interview with Sen. Rand Paul this week, Rogan noted that many Americans viewed ICE officers as “murderous, military people that are on the streets of our city, and they’re masked up, which is also a problem. Because if you get arrested by a cop, you’re allowed to ask the cop, what is your name and badge number? If you get arrested by an ICE agent, you have no such right. They’re wearing a mask. They don’t have to tell you shit. That’s a problem. That’s a problem on our city streets, right? Because you could also pretend to be an ICE agent.” He went on: “And we shouldn’t have militarized groups of people roaming the streets, just showing up with masks on, snatching people up. It’s complicated, obviously, but it’s also very ugly. To watch someone shoot a U.S. citizen, especially a woman, in the face, where it’s like, I’m not that guy. I don’t know what he thought.” Rogan seemed skeptical of claims that the killing of 37-year-old Renee Good in Minneapolis was necessary. “When people say it’s justifiable because the car hit him, it seemed like she was kind of turning the car away. She didn’t seem mentally healthy, but does that mean she should be shot in the head? Is there no other way to handle this?” Where he got the mental health issue is a Joe Rogan thing, I guess.) “And then I can also see the point of view of the people to say, yeah, but you don’t want militarized people in the streets just roaming around, snatching people up, many of which turn out to actually be U.S. citizens that just don’t have their papers on them. Are we really going to be the Gestapo? Where’s your papers? Is that what we’ve come to?” When you’ve lost Joe Rogan, Dilbert, you’re on the downward slide.
“We don’t need no steenking rules”: A woman who was reportedly attempting to drive to a doctor’s appointment was pulled out of her vehicle by ICE agents and taken into custody during a disturbing incident captured on video Tuesday in Minneapolis. The incident happened amid heavy clashes between masked ICE agents and protesters , near the area of 34th and Park streets in Minneapolis when a woman attempting to get out of the area was targeted as officers grabbed her and pulled her out of the window of her sedan. The woman, whose name was not immediately known, yelled out “Get the fuck out of my car. I’ve been picked up by police before. I’m disabled, I’m trying to go to the doctor up there, that’s why I didn’t move.” The video was captured and shared by Amanda Moore, who was at the scene where protesters and ICE thugs clashed, yelling at each other while the thugs pulled the woman from her car onto the concrete, using a knife to cut her out of her seatbelt. She posted: “Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.”
Sundowning Grampa crawled to the Golden Throne in the midst of the nightly Adderall overdose and appealed to Minnesota residents in a bizarre rant about the “patriots of ICE” coming to save them and imminent “retribution.”In an Oh-DarkEarly spew on Lies Anti-Social, he lashed out at Minnesotans after state officials sued to stop more federal immigration agents from entering the state following the fatal shooting of Minneapolis mother Renee Good. He questioned if the people of Minnesota “really want to live in a community in which there are thousands of already convicted murderers, drug dealers and addicts, rapists, violent released and escaped prisoners, dangerous people from foreign mental institutions and insane asylums, and other deadly criminals too dangerous to even mention.” He went on: “All the patriots of ICE want to do is remove them from your neighborhood and send them back to the prisons and mental institutions from where they came, most in foreign Countries who illegally entered the USA though Sleepy Joe Biden’s HORRIBLE Open Border’s Policy. Every place we go, crime comes down. In Chicago, despite a weak and incompetent Governor and Mayor fighting us all the way, a big improvement was made. Thousands of Criminals were removed! Minnesota Democrats love the unrest that anarchists and professional agitators are causing because it gets the spotlight off of the 19 Billion Dollars that was stolen by really bad and deranged people. FEAR NOT, GREAT PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA, THE DAY OF RECKONING & RETRIBUTION IS COMING!”
Here’s another illegal act Trump will lose on in court: Trump outlined new immigration and fraud prevention plans during a speech Tuesday at the Detroit Economic Club, including 90 day notices directing states like California to return people who entered the country illegally. He said, “Starting February 1, we’re not making any payments to Sanctuary Cities or states having Sanctuary Cities because they do everything possible to protect criminals at the expense of American Citizens, and it breeds fraud and crime.” He also announced plans to suspend nearly 8,000 Small Business Administration loans in Minnesota that he said were tied to “suspected scammers,” noting the DOJ has charged almost 100 people there. He added that a new DOJ “legal strike force” would target fraud and that Maladministration II would seek to revoke citizenship from naturalized immigrants convicted of defrauding Americans. Previous attempts to withdraw federal funding based on sanctuary policies, including FEMA grants and terrorism prevention programs, have faced legal challenges. Maladministration II has been forced to reinstate or repay those funds. He really is “the most persistent ignoramus I ever met.”
The concentration camps are operating: Dozens of refugees, many Somali, have been arrested in Minnesota and sent to detention centers in Texas, with lawyers reporting abuse claims at facilities like Coastal Bend Detention Center. Maladministration II is ending TPS for Somalis. According to a post by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Somali nationals with TPS are now required to leave the United States by March 17, 2026.
Here’s some bad news for Trumplethinskin and his gang of treasonous fascist scum (hich is Good News for us):
A new poll from YouGov and The Economist released on Tuesday showed that a growing number of respondents said they are in favor of abolishing ICE. A plurality - 46% - said they would support the proposal, while 43% were opposed the idea. Independents, a key voting bloc that will be central to 2026 midterm strategies, also backed abolishing the agency by a 12-point margin, with 47% in support of such a move and 35% opposing it. The numbers mark a notable jump from June 2025, when a YouGov poll found that the proposal to abolish ICE was supported by only 27% of respondents, while 45% were opposed.
The poll also shows most Americans say the ICE thug officer involved in the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis should face criminal charges for his actions. 53% of Americans say the ICE thug should face charges, while 30% say he shouldn’t, and 17% say they’re not sure.
You have the right to quit: ICE thugs are living in fear as the public turns against them in record numbers after one of their thugs murdered unarmed Renee Nicole Good, blasted three times in her car by self-described “Hardore MAGA Christian nationalist” Jonathan Ross. An ICE agent in Minneapolis told reporters drivers were increasingly making a “gun sign” with their hands as they pass by ICE patrols in the street. Agents fear the public revulsion toward the heavy-handed approach of ICE under Trump, and Maladministration II’s efforts to cover its own tracks as it did in the wake of Good’s shooting, is already causing problems securing criminal convictions. One former agent said that it has become more common for juries not to believe evidence they are presenting to the court. Separately, according to a report published Monday, Border Patrol - the agency working with ICE on the ground - is struggling to find agents willing to join “Operation Metro Surge” in Minneapolis. The hostility is such that recent polling suggests a majority of Americans now wish to see ICE scrapped altogether.
A revolt has mounted within the Department of Justice over the investigation of the Jan. 7 killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis, a former assistant attorney general said Tuesday. The resignation of now six senior career officials from the Criminal Section of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division and eight prosecutors in the Minneapolis US Attorney’s office has signaled a major response after the CRD was sidelined on what’s been considered “one of the gravest excessive-force cases in decades,” Harry Litman wrote in a Substack essay. “Now up to six resignations in Minnesota. Metastatic and spreading quickly. Clearly one of 2-3 biggest scandals in DOJ history,” Litman wrote on Bluesky. “The resigning officials, then, were not merely objecting to a particular judgment call. In effect, they were saying that if the Criminal Section does not have jurisdiction over a case like this, its role has been reduced to near irrelevance,” Litman wrote. “Excessive force by officers is not new. What is novel for the United States is the use of federal power afterward to stifle investigation and shield wrongdoing. That turn - from lethal force to enforced impunity - is an abuse of authority and a hallmark of authoritarian governance.”
Trump’s efforts to pressure Canada to lift a boycott on U.S. alcohol appear to have backfired. Several Canadian provinces, including Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia, pulled American- made alcohol from government-run liquor store shelves amid last year’s trade dispute, dealing a multimillion-dollar blow to U.S. producers. Now Maladministration II is pressing Canada to lift the boycott, but a new poll shows that most Canadians back the ban. According to the poll, conducted in late December among 1,077 Canadians, 73% nationwide back the boycott, compared with just 20% who want American liquor returned to shelves. Support for the boycott was consistent across the country. In Quebec and Ontario - home to Canada’s largest provincial liquor markets - 74% said U.S. booze should remain excluded. Atlantic Canada showed similar levels of support, with 73% backing the boycott, while 72% percent in the conservative Prairie Provincess agreed. Even in British Columbia, where opposition was highest, more than 70% of respondents favored keeping U.S. alcohol off shelves. U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said a “successful” review by Maladministration II of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which is crucial to Canada’s economy, will depend on the Canadian provinces ending their liquor boycotts. Canadian resistance to U.S. products has become a flashpoint in the broader backlash against Trump’s aggressive trade tactics, which have included tariffs on steel and aluminum, threats to cripple Canada’s auto industry, and even talk of using “economic force” to turn Canada into the 51st state. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said U.S. brands will stay off shelves until tariffs are lifted or a new version of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement is negotiated. “If they don’t, then they aren’t getting any booze on our shelves,” he said. The fallout has been costly for U.S. alcohol producers, with Canadian sales of American wine and spirits collapsing and major brands reporting steep losses Brown-Forman, maker of Jack Daniel’s, said Canadian sales plunged more than 60% in the first half of fiscal 2026. Go Canada! American booze is pisswater anyway.
Bari Weiss continues to screweth the pooch at CBS. Mr. Katy Tur in the Cronkite Seat isn’t working. All the MAGAts want real FuxSnooze, so that’s where they go. And the regular viewers of CBS don’t want Weiss’s bullshit. Vanity Fair reported Tuesday, citing data from Nielsen, that in Mr. Tur’s first week, viewership plummeted 23% compared to a year ago, pulling in just 4.17 million viewers versus the 5.4 million who tuned in to Norah O’Donnell’s coverage of California wildfires and Trump’s inauguration. The advertiser-coveted 25-54 demographic tanked 23%, dropping from 690,000 to 533,000 viewers, according to the report. At the same time ABC’s “World News Tonight” saw 8.1 million viewers, while NBC’s “Nightly News” grabbed 6.73 million.
Mr. Tur did do a good thing when he confronted Dilbert with comments from the grieving father - a longtime Trump supporter - of Renee Nicole Good “I’ve got an important question about the situation in Minnesota. The death of Renee Nicole Good. I’ve been speaking to her father, who is a big supporter of yours,” Dokoupil began. “Good,” Trump interjected. “Like many Americans are. But he’s heartbroken right now,” said Dokoupil. “I can understand that, yeah,” Trump replied. “He’s heartbroken because his daughter is dead, that’s obvious. He’s also heartbroken because your administration so quickly has come out and said she’s a ‘domestic terrorist.’ What do you wanna say to her father right now?” Trump relied, “Well, I wanna say to the father that I love all of our people. They can be on the other side. As you say, he might be on my side, he’s--,” And I think that’s great. And-- and I do, I think it’s great. And I would bet you that she, under normal circumstances, was a very solid, wonderful person. But, you know, her actions were pretty tough. And I’ve seen it many ways and many different shapes and forms. But the bottom line is, look, we have hundreds of thousands of murderers in our countries, killers. ICE is trying to get them out. They were let in through an open border policy of sleepy Joe Biden. ICE is working very hard to get them out. Their job is being made very, very difficult. And, you know, when you look at that tape, it-- it can be viewed two ways, I guess. But when you look at the way that was - that car was pulled away - there were a couple of versions of that tape that are very, very bad.” (Yeah, for you, you lying sonofabitch) Dokoupil finished by asking if Trump saw the courts and the Constitution as limits on his power as well.Trump responded: “Well, the Constitution of course. That goes without saying. But you’re asking me what really can stop- - we’ll never get to the courts, we’ll never get to the Constitution, because ... I wanna see what’s good for our country. And you know what? The courts wanna see that too.” (Word salad of lies)
Dilbert was allowed outside unsupervised Tuesday to give a speech on the economy. This is what he talked about: affordability: “I will be laying out more plans to bring back affordability, and remember that’s a fake word by Democrats. Prices were too high. They caused the high price.”Then back to the Top 40 Greatest Oldies: “We had our, we won everything. We won all seven swing states. We won the Electoral College 312 to 226. We won the popular vote by millions and millions of Oh, so nice to win the popular vote. I won the popular vote all three times too, but we’re not gonna get into that. I, but the first time they said, I didn’t win the popular vote, but I won the Electoral College.” (He lost the popular vote twice - 2016 and 2020)
Obergruppenführer Greg got dogpiled the second he walked out of the bathroom in a Minneapolis Target. One customer let him have it with both barrels in an epic rant: “You’re a fucking bum, you. You’re a bitch. and if your wife’s got a problem, fuck her, too. You guys are all bitches. you can’t do shit to me. You can’t do a thing. Get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck out. Nobody wants you here. Right. Get the fuck out. Walk the fuck you, you stupid bitches. Get the fuck out of here. The fuck out of here. Coward. You’re a fucking coward, bitch. You’re a fucking bitch. Fuck you - hold on, babe, I’m on the phone with these bitch-ass niggas - get the fuck out of here. get the fuck out of here, you stupid bitches. You’re a fucking coward piece of shit. Fuck you. And if you didn’t have a gun or a vest, I would beat the shit out of you. Take that fucking badge off, and that fucking gun, and see what happens to you. You shut the fuck up, you’re not fucking tough. You’re a bitch and get the fuck out, You fucking pussy. You fucking bitch-ass white boys. I’ll fucking spit on you. Fucking get out of here. Get the fuck out. Shut the fuck up. Get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck out of here.” Bovino t hen went on Fux Snooze to say that “90 prcent” of the people want to engage with him and find out what they’re doing. Which is why, when ICE goons showed up in the Lyn-Lake neighborhood of Minneapolis - they got chased the fuck out angry residents.
This morning, Sundowning Grampa decided to take things to 11 wover Greenland orior to a meeting todaqy with Danish officials. He posted on Lies Anti-social: “The United States needs Greenland for the purpose of National Security. It is vital for the Golden Dome that we are building. NATO should be leading the way for us to get it. IF WE DON’T, RUSSIA OR CHINA WILL, AND THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Militarily, without the vast power of the United States, much of which I built during my first term, and am now bringing to a new and even higher level, NATO would not be an effective force or deterrent - Not even close! They know that, and so do I. NATO becomes far more formidable and effective with Greenland in the hands of the UNITED STATES. Anything less than that is unacceptable.”
Remember: “Things are never so bad that they can’t get worse.”

I watched that tape of that guy ranting at ICE leaving the Target bathroom. I cannot imagine the adrenaline surge in his veins. Consider too that he is a black man--that took bigger balls than all of those ICE dudes combined.
I think people overall have HAD IT. I don't know what individual act or combination thereof that crossed the line. I know for me, lots disgusted me but not as much as the utter despair I felt when they cut the SNAP benefits.
Here's a story to share: when I was working, I was helping a young immigrant man (Muslim, from Jordan) came here in hopes of getting his PhD. He had his BS already in Medical Technology, but he spoke very formal English, so I was teaching him slang. (and, I confess, politics as well.)
Anyhow, we'd talk about his background, and he told me when he came here, he was confused by seeing homeless people on the street. He asked his wife (arranged marriage, she a citizen born here) what the heck? What's going on? He told me in his religion, and in his country, there are no homeless. He said it is the responsibility to take in ANYONE who falls on bad times. He was absolutely astounded that in our great country, people would be homeless or hungry.
I didn't know how to answer him. As a Christian, I know that we too are supposed to feed the hungry. Etc.
Despite what Trump or MAGA might say, I really do love this country! I really do want it to be a shining beacon of hope and democracy for the entire world. I cringe at what the world is thinking about us.
The good news is that the Ford worker who called Trump a pedophile protector and who was suspended by the company, he's got the backing of the UAW because they value free speech. Better yet, someone set up a Go-Fund-Me fund for the worker, and it's up to half a million dollars this evening. I'm confident it didn't all come from George Soros. Learning this has made my day, and I hope it lightens the load for you, Tom, and my fellow commenters. Truth to power used to be an American value, right?
