Time to invest in popcorn futures:
It was only a question of time before the Lizard People were exposed, either by tearing off their masks to reveal their true nature, or being spotted by Americans who had the official John Carpenter sunglasses that let one see their true nature.
The shitstorm started modestly on Sunday when Felon34 announced he had appointed Sriram Krishan, a partner at Andreesen Horowitz (now a major source of Felon support in Silly Con Valley) as a White House policy adviser on Artificial Intelligence; he would work with recent Felon convert and fellow Unreconstructed Afrikaner neenie-weenie David Sacks, the newly-announced crypto and AI “czar.”
Felon34 probably figured this should be another big bowl of who the fuck cares, posting it on Sunday afternoon and all just before Christmas. He didn’t figure anyone would notice he was anding out another cushy job in the administration as a favor to the Tech Bros who had showered him with moola in the final months of the campaign. were huge donors to his campaign.
But he managed to forget that all the online MAGAt s who have been with him the past eight years would shit a huge brick when they heard this.
That’s because Krishan is a big proponent of removing country caps on green cards and H1-B visas, which allow American companies to hire foreign workers for certain specialized employment. For the OG MAGAts, the big deal is that most of those immigrants who get the H1-B visas happen to be varying shades of brown.
The pot continued to bubble as it gathered heat on Monday and Tuesday, then on Christmas Day, King Elmo the Least shitted a post on Xitter (that’s pronounced “shitter”): “Investing in Americans is actually hard. Really hard. It costs money and time and effort to make a person productive. It’s a short term net loss. It’s much easier to bring in skilled workers who might not do quite as good a job, but will work for a fraction of the cost and be happy just to be here.”
Yikes! The Space Nazi had said the quiet part out loud, the thing that every Tech Bro believes: what is confessing in his tweet is actually what every oligarch believes: Why should America bother to educate its citizens? It’s too hard and it’s expensive and the government will increase taxes and take our money from us and it takes too long and it’s much easier to bring in easily-controlled immigrants who will do the work for us dirt cheap.
And with that, the shit - to use a technical term - hit the fan.
Laura Loomer shit a brick, posting on Xitter: “Hey MAGA — President Musk wants immigrants to take your jobs. Deeply disturbing to see the appointment of Sriram Krishnan @sriramk as Senior Policy Advisor for AI at the Office of Science and Technology Policy. It’s alarming to see the number of career leftists who are now being appointed to serve in Trump’s admin when they share views that are in direct opposition to Trump’s America First agenda.”
Only in LoopyLoomerWorld is a career capitalist like Krishan seen as a “career leftist.”
MAGA populism has always had at best an uneasy relationship with the Tech Bro billionaires, since they are seen as being responsible for who gets good jobs and who doesn’t here in ‘Murrica. The face-eating leopards went after King Elmo and Rama-Swama-Ding-Dong over how they were using their DOGE scam to protect the interests of their fellow Tech Bros.
Musk responded to a question from Amjad Masad, the CEO of the tech company Replit, who asked: “Genuinely curious: Are there actual instances where qualified native born Americans couldn’t get jobs in tech because foreigners took all of them? I’d be surprised if it’s true because at any given point there are hundreds of thousands of unfilled jobs in tech.
With his unfailing ability to not read the room, King Elmo responded, “There is a permanent shortage of excellent engineering talent. It is the fundamental limiting factor in Silicon Valley.”
Mario Nawfal, who claims to host the “largest show on X,” quoted King Elmo and added some stats: “The U.S. semiconductor industry alone needs over 160,000 engineers by 2032, driven by $250B+ in new investments.”
Elmo then replied: “No, we need more like double that number yesterday! The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low. Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.”
Meidas Network commentator Ron Filipkowski noted, “Elon is just saying what every other Republican employer is about to say in 2025 - deport everyone else’s employees, but not mine because I really need them.”
Loomer attacked King Elmo directly, posting: “The elephant in the room is that @elonmusk, who is not MAGA and never has been, is a total fucking drag on the Trump transition. He’s a stage 5 clinger who over stayed his welcome at Mar a Lago in an effort to become Trump’s side piece and be the point man for all of his accomplices in big Tech to slither in to Mar a Lago.”
Other MAGAt “influencers” began posting.
DC_Draino: “How did DOGE go from ‘let’s cut wasteful government spending’ to ‘here’s why we need to import more immigrants’ almost overnight? Did I miss something?! There are over 330 million people in America. Surely, there must be enough among them to build your ultimate team? Why would you deny real Americans that opportunity by bringing foreigners here?”
Musk dug his hole deeper when he responded to that, stating that the questioner’s “understanding of the situation is upside-down and backwards.” He went on to claim he and his companies would “prefer to hire Americans,” rather than go through the slow and painful visa process, he stated that the “mental differences” between Americans and foreign skilled labor was enormous: “This is not about handing out opportunities from some magical hat. You don’t get it. This is blindingly obvious when looking at NBA teams, as the physical differences are so obvious to see. However, the MENTAL differences between humans are FAR bigger than the physical differences!!”
King Elmo had just called the MAGAts mentally-deficient dumbasses.
Champion shitposter and bomb thrower Rama-Swama-Ding-Dong then went nuclear, posting that high tech companies need to bring in foreign workers because Americans lack a strong work ethic due to cultural factors. His 400-word posting series deserves full quoting:
Rama-Swama-Ding-Dong post:
“The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if we’re really serious about fixing the problem, we have to confront the TRUTH:
“Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.
“A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.
“A culture that venerates Cory from “Boy Meets World,” or Zach & Slater over Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in “Family Matters,” will not produce the best engineers.
“(Fact: I know *multiple* sets of immigrant parents in the 90s who actively limited how much their kids could watch those TV shows precisely because they promoted mediocrity…and their kids went on to become wildly successful STEM graduates).
“More movies like “Whiplash,” fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.”
“Most normal American parents look skeptically at “those kinds of parents.” More normal American kids view such “those kinds of kids” with scorn. If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve.
“Now close your eyes & visualize which families you knew in the 90s (or even now) who raise their kids according to one model versus the other. Be brutally honest.
“Normalcy” doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent. And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our asses handed to us by China.
“This can be our Sputnik moment. We’ve awaken from slumber before & we can do it again. Trump’s election hopefully marks the beginning of a new golden era in America, but only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over normalcy; excellence over mediocrity; nerdiness over conformity; hard work over laziness.
“That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence. I’m confident we can do it.”
As of this morning, that post had been viewed 63 million times on X.
The blowback was swift and brutal. MAGAs don’t take kindly to being told they aren’t talented or motivated enough to be rewarded with the best tech jobs (even if that is objectively true), and that their “culture” is somehow to blame. That’s not very “America First,” and the fact that it came from a brown-skinned son of immigrants from India didn’t help at all.
Theze are the people who all along have not liked the idea of more immigrants - most of them from South Asia - being allowed in to fill jobs their tech lord masters simply claim Americans can’t do. Isn’t MAGA about stopping the “invasion” of America by all these brown people who are coming and taking our jobs?!
Jurate’s older sister, at the time an executive at Intel, became a Trumper eight years ago when she was put in charge of a group of Americans working at the company, who were sent to India to train the people who were going to be brought over by Intel on H1-B visas, who really would take the jobs of the people who trained them, since all those people were dropped right after they completed training them.
The reckoning between the skilled labor needs of the Broligarchy and the “less than smart” people who demand those good jobs go to ’Muricans exposes the widening rift within MAGA. Over the past 48 hours, that rift has begun to blow wide open.
Surprise, surprise, rather than have an open discussion about it, King Elmo - self-described savior of free speech, - responded to all this by clamping down on voices of dissen, stripping privileges from right wing accounts on X.
Loomer was the first to get slammed. tShe ook a screenshot of all of the positions open at Tesla for H-1B visa holders, including some that paid wages around 70K, and also questioned whether DOGE was really a way to “cut spending” or rather to redirect spending toward the “pet projects of tech bro billionaires.”
When Musk accused Loomer of “trolling” for attention and suggested readers ignore her, she responded, “We all know you only donated your money so you could influence immigration policy and protect your buddy Xi JinPing [sic].”
King Elmo responded by canceling all her paid subscribers, and removing her verified checkmark, thereby limiting Loomer’s ability to monetize on his platform.
Loomer tweeted in response:
“@elonmusk has removed my blue check mark on X because I dared to question his support for H1B visas, the replacement of American tech workers by Indian immigrants, and I questioned his relationship with China.
“Looks like Elon Musk is going to be silencing me for supporting original Trump immigration policies.
“I have always been America First and a die hard supporter of President Trump and I believe that promises made should be promises kept. Donald Trump promised to remove the H1B visa program and I support his policy. Now, as one of Trump’s biggest supporters, I’m having my free speech silenced by a tech billionaire for simply questioning the tech oligarchy.
“Elon has decided to retaliate by removing my blue check and demonetizing me.
“I guess he doesn’t really believe in Free speech after all.
Mike Cernovich tried to bring it back to economics. He argued that if Apple couldn’t raise its compensation enough to attract domestic talent, it should be allowed to fail as a company. King Elmo responded that Cernovich had made an “incredibly foolish and wrong statement,” that “Apple pays extremely well,” and that the expertise they need simply does not exist in America in sufficient quantities.
Another commentator wrote on the question of immigrants to the U.S. in general, saying that the U.S. doesn’t want “millions of unvetted, low-skilled immigrants who will take advantage of our welfare” (This is a false statement; undocumented workers aren’t eligible for welfare) but rather we want “highly skilled immigrants who will ‘assimilate’ and contribute to our society.”
King Elmo replied, “Yeah.”
Loomer has some company on the far right in her criticism. Cernovic warned his 1.3 million followers, “Never insult the monarch.” To which King Elmo replied: “I am constantly insulted on this platform.” Loomer interjected, “This is America. We don’t have a monarchy. This is outrageous.”
Catturd posted : “Do I really need to start listing American inventors and what the world wouldn’t have without us?”
To which Rama-Swama-Ding-Dong replied, “ That’s the America I want to return to.”
Cernovich posted: “The Woodstock generation managed to build out aerospace, the one before went to the moon, America was doing great. Underlying your post is that we were all living in squalor until being rescued by H-1B’s. Then why did everyone want to come here?
Rama-Swama-Ding-Dong replied: “This is a cultural issue, not immigration.”
It went on”
Mike Posobiec: “Why would America recruit foreign talent rather than recruit own on talent right here at home? Imagine how many more JD Vances are out there.”
Kat Christenson: “The "US tech worker shortage" was crafted to justify hiring H1B workers at lower wages (~$12/hr in 2000), sidelining US talent. Revive 1980s-style technical schools: 18-month, hands-on training, no degree needed. Empower US workers!”
MadMaxCrypto: “Vivek’s vision of America would create a lot of hard working robots but very few leaders. You don’t learn leadership in books. You learn it via dealing with people.”
Brendan Dilley: “So basically, tech bros prefer foreign born workers because they're willing to work 90 hours per week, rather than having a work/life balance. Got it.”
Auron MacIntyre: “Turns out the "waste" that DOGE wanted to cut from America was Americans.”
Tech Worker USA: “You’re being replaced in your own country because your culture is inferior to India’s.” -Vivek. All the stories of nepotism by Indian hiring managers are becoming clear.”
David Schy: “H1b holders are stuck and forced to work for the organization that brought them here regardless of conditions since they want to be here. So they work hard because they must. Give them all a green card and see if they still have that same vigor.”
Jonathan Cage: “No, the most important (and only) thing tech companies in America want with foreign workers is saving money. That's it. To pretend otherwise is asinine.”
Ann Coulter posted: “American workers can leave a company. H1B workers can’t. Tech wants indentured servants, not “high skilled” workers.”
I’ve never seen so many stopped clocks being right at the same time of day before.
Coulter is right. The Tech Bros love hiring foreign engineers and bringing them over on H1B visas; this locks them into working only for the sponsoring company - they can’t quit their jobs to find better work. Woe unto them if they get fired - instead of a severance, they get a plane ticket back to their country of origin.
King Elmo, who is famous for demanding that workers stay on the job till a problem is fixed, eating at their workstation and sleeping on the office floor after a 20-hour day, couldn’t do this if he wasn’t dealing with H1-B workers who can’t complain and can’t leave.
Loomer claimed King Elmo and Rama-Swama infiltrated the MAGA movement for their own ends. “I have been more loyal to President Trump and his agenda than ANYONE. And I have only been punished for it. Pay attention MAGA. This is how you will all be treated now that Big Tech has infiltrated MAGA. “President Musk” is starting to look real,”
Trump also has said the quiet part out loud, saying during the latter stages of the campaign, “You need a pool of people to work for your companies. You have great companies, and they have to be smart people. Not everybody can be… “less than smart.” You need brilliant people.”
It isn’t clear whether Trump was serious or speaking off the cuff, but it’s now likely to upset a lot of his base once they understand what it will mean.
What the Tech Bros don’t understand is what author Joey Politano writes: “Stoking anti-immigrant backlash against Mexicans, Haitians, Guatemalans, etc would inevitably lead to anti-immigration backlash against Indian tech workers.” He adds, “Oh people who are big fans of the ‘immigrants are eating your pets’ routine actually don’t like the H-1B program? Who could have foreseen this? Where was this righteous indignation when the target was anyone except your buddies in the tech industry?”
As Rep. Jasmine Crockett put it: “I won’t have enough tea to sip nor popcorn to eat over the next 4 years! I’ve done countless interviews explaining that we need immigrants and that they contribute to our economy! Businesses blow us up about needing workers.”
So far as the relationship between King Elmo and Felon34 is concerned, it’s gotta hurt when a guy Felon34 thought was on his side turns out to be one of the Lizard People. It turns out that Nitwityahoo is one of them, as he revealed in a conversation with King Elmo the Least on Xitter this past Monday (from The Independent):
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, hinting that the tech billionaire is more powerful than the US president, said: “I said to my wife Sara, ‘this guy really knows what he’s talking about’, I said ‘He’s the Edison of our time’.” He went on to say, “You can’t be president of the US last time I checked, but assume you are.”
Elmo actually replied: “Not officially.”
Netanyahu responded: “Not officially. OK, so you’re the unofficial president.”
The fuse has been lit.
Pass. The. Popcorn.

My final career from 2003 to 2021 was with the tech industry and it is true that there are a lot of H-1B visas out there. And there is a huge cultural difference. College education is cheaper and easier to obtain in India for SOME people and it is high quality education. To get into an Indian University you have to pass a series of qualifying tests and they aren't easy - I'd put them at the level of GRE (Graduate Record Exam) or LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) both of which I took and passed. For Indian students the SAT would e a piece of cake.
Our problem here is we leave public school education (K-12) to the mercy of the States of which more than view education as the lowest level on have-to-do list. As I've said so often, if you're born and raised in Massachusetts you've got the sun on your shoulders, if you're born and raised in West Virginia, tough patooties.
But it's also true that some companies AND State governments, use their American employees to lesser qualified workers (who also are willing to work for less) then fire those Americans (no matter how many years they have put in) when the new employees are trained.
It's all part and parcel of the shareholder vs stakeholder economic view.
However, we have a worse history; for the past 150+ years too many States have paid for bare minimum education for the masses because ignorance is far easier to control. This has to end if we are to retain our position in a digital world. Every child deserves the best education that child is capable of attaining. No more turning out obedient little automatons.
I too have been following this story...git a bit earlier today with Tim of the Bulwark. Yeah. Pass the popcorn, but let's make sure all this fire and smoke burn a huge magat patch. Thanks Tom for enduring all the X(shitter) s*** in order to post verbatim what thus crowd is saying. Talk about pulling off the lizard masks! We can learn a lot about how the world of rapcious capitalist fascism works. BTW today FB removed one of my posts for allegedly going against their "community standards". Want to know what I posted? A clip from The Great Dictator...Adnoid Hynkel's speech! What a bunch of dweebs! I resisted and posted it again plus some additional clips AND a documentary by Costa Gavras about The Great Dictator. 30 minutes and a fascinating story of how Charlie Chaplain brought that film to the screen. It is fucking fantastic and everyone should watch the film and the documentary. Thanks again Tom!
