I find my $7 a month subscription well worth the excellent snarky analysis you provide. I try to subdue my vengeful and vindictive dark side, but it appreciates what I read here.

I’m here because I’m allowed to cuss freely in the comment section. Best $7 therapy anywhere! 🤬

Fuck yeah. $7 a month is cheap therapy.

Thank you, TC. Good luck with the new computer... have patience....it isn't easy for old dogs like us to learn new computer tricks. Getting an exterior keyboard has helped my experience with Windows 11.

I don’t know how I’ll make it for two days without you, but enjoy the new computer!

FYI, the "48 percent" of presidents would be 16 of the 45 different people who have been president, including Herbert Hoover, who didn't actually do it (Dugout Doug did, illegally). And one of them was Lincoln, responding to the ancestors of today's republicans.

My Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin has a bill that addresses the serious problem of affordable housing, one of the big concerns of our kids and grandkids. The GOP's got nothing to solve the problem, just as they have nothing for healthcare. Here's the summary:

"The National Housing Emergency Act of 2026 declares a housing emergency that will continue until 4 million homes are built. The bill does the following:

Creates a new housing standard by choosing how the federal government gives out money. No one gets a blank check: It rewards pro-growth communities with federal dollars and holds accountable communities that refuse to grow.

Pushes states and localities to cut regulations and make way for more housing. It compels state and local governments to change laws like allowing commercial properties to get turned into housing, eliminating single-family zoning or allowing for accessory dwelling units, like “in-law suites” or “granny flats”.

Uses the full strength of the U.S government through the Defense Production Act to direct domestic industries to produce essential materials (lumber, steel, manufactured housing) and services to speed up housing development and rehabilitation.

During the emergency, the bill institutes a freeze for states or localities from passing laws, rules or regulations that imposes a burden on the construction or rehabilitation of housing during the period of the emergency."

In June 2025, Slotkin called for a national housing emergency in her Economic War Plan speech — This legislation is a concrete follow up to that end."

Good luck with the new electronics. We'll be patient. Sort of.

People with sufficiently large 401(k)’s to make a sizable down the payment on a house are not the sort of people who need assistance with housing. This is just a trick to let rich people access money tax free instead of using after tax dollars when buying a vacation home. It’s a grift. Again.

Just saw a clip on UTube showing hundreds(thousands?) of people in Nuuk Greenland protesting - lots of really great signs too. No doubt as to how they feel about our current WH felon!

Wine moms. Good grief. They are so afraid of women.

We gotta do something. We just can't protest.

Okay, all you map mavens, I have a question for you.

How is CF-DJT going to invade Greenland with our big, beautiful War Fighters without flying over Canada?

Easy to imagine Canadian ATC saying “You do not have permission to fly military missions over Canada, you Hosers.”
