It's a heck of a world when we're more likely to believe Iranian spokesfolks about peace negotiations than we do our own president and his assorted Florsheimlickers. But that part of the world is moving on without Trump's direct-talk bullying or interference because they know they can. Trump should read Sun Tzu's The Art of War, a thin book that wouldn't be too offputting to him, and be advised that he can't survive without knowing himself and truly knowing them. He seems to think Persians are Arab cave dwellers, but they are an educated people, including their women. And they seem to know Trump better than he knows himself. A few months ago I read that Iran's leaders were bringing in a platoon of psychologists to help them strategize.
Finally, I remain proudly critical of ICE, refuse to fear their loutishness, and am fully prepared for their visit, as all of us should be. I hope their 47-day training included a crash course in how to identify pongee pits and other deadfalls. When I know they're in town I'll be festooning the place with all kinds of signs of PTSD and playing barking mastiff recordings. Am working on a Rube Goldberg type of exploding blue ink packets when they hit the doorbell.
There's a scene in "Clear and Present Danger" (Tom Clancy classic) wherein a politically inconvenient person is dropped from a plane into the ocean. With the group now in charge, actions like that would not surprise me. After all, Hegseth had blast survivors "double tapped" in the Caribbean and Atlantic when they claimed they were dealing with drug trafficking. Stupid and Ruthless.
Don will still hope Toddddd will be chosen by his Congress. If the SCOTUS Six continues its Don-control, the democracy is def at a crossroads. If only the Senate would choose the law instead of the corruption, we would see a positive outcome. We’re still doing our best to hold the walls. Don’s childishness to have “it his way” alone is tedious and ABNORMALLY WEIRD & WRONG. Why would anyone vote for his agenda and support his crazy abnormal cabinet? Why?
