POKING AROUND WHILE RUNNING FOR THE EXIT OF WEEK TWO
From the Department of The Scumbags Are Still At It: Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe told Rwandan state TV that his government was in "early talks" with Washington regarding taking in third-country nationals deported from the U.S. "We are now in talks with the U.S. about a deal on migration," he said, confirming days of rumors. duhungirehe said plans weren't concrete yet, but noted that Rwanda has experience in taking in migrants, saying, "it's not the first time that we'd be engaging in such a kind of deal." Asked to confirm the comments, the State Department told NPR only that "ongoing engagement with foreign governments is vital to deterring illegal and mass migration and securing our borders." Foreign critics say Rwanda's abysmal rights record under President Paul Kagame means it's no place to resettle people. "Rwanda under the long-ruling Kagame dictatorship is simply not a safe country, it's a totalitarian police state by any standard," said Jeffrey Smith, founder of pro-democracy nonprofit Vanguard Africa. Michela Wrong, a journalist and author of a book on Rwanda, also said the country is not a suitable place to send deportees. "This is a country where the elections are routinely rigged, where opposition activists disappear and are found murdered…where opposition leaders aren't allowed to run in the elections, journalists are jailed or end up fleeing the country," she said.Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe told Rwandan state TV that his government was in "early talks" with Washington regarding taking in third-country nationals deported from the U.S."We are now in talks with the U.S. about a deal on migration," he said, confirming days of rumors. Donnie Two Dolls has made deporting illegal immigrants a cornerstone of his presidency. In April, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Maladministration II was looking for countries willing to take deportees, even if it means relocating them to places they aren't from. "We are working with other countries to say, 'We want to send you some of the most despicable human beings to your countries…Will you do that as a favor to us?" he said. "And the further away the better, so they can't come back across the border."
From the Department of Let’s Kill All Environmental Programs: The EPA plans to end Energy Star, a program whose iconic blue labels have certified the energy efficiency of home appliances for more than three decades, as part of its broader reorganization. The proposed end of the popular program would come as part of the dissolution of the EPA's Office of Atmospheric Protection (OAP) and the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. The plans to close the popular Energy Star program, first reported by CNN and the Washington Post, came after an OAP staff meeting on Monday. Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen said ending the program would raise costs for consumers. “Let’s be clear: Cutting the popular Energy Star program - which helps everyday households and businesses save on their energy bills - would mark another rash attempt by this administration to line the pockets of billionaires and utility companies at the expense of hardworking Americans," she said in a statement.
From the Department of Donnie Gets A Slap Across HisFace: When 9 Democrats supported a cryptocurrency bill coming out of committee. The Trumpscum thought they had an easy win, but progressives in the Senate Democratic caucus have been sounding the alarm about crypto being used as a vehicle for corruption by the president, and have been demanding that the legislation contain stronger rules and regulations. Chuck Schumer sided with the progressives and got Democrats to block the bill. Semafor reported: “Nine pro-crypto Democratic senators are withholding their votes for legislation that would create rules for stablecoins in hopes they can convince Republicans to beef up the bill’s provisions on national security and consumer protection.” After persistent fury from the left over his handling of government funding, Schumer’s taken a firmer hand on crypto and openly sided with progressives; this may be a taste of things to come this year as the party takes advantage of the filibuster, its last leverage over Trump’s agenda.
Former U.S. President Joe Biden said his successor Donald Trump's pressure on Ukraine to give up territory to Russia is a form of "modern-day appeasement" that will never satisfy Moscow.
Speaking to the BBC in what the broadcaster said was his first interview since leaving the White House, Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin believes Ukraine is part of "mother Russia" and "anybody who thinks he's going to stop is just foolish". "I just don't understand how people think that if we allow a dictator, a thug, to decide he's going to take significant portions of land that aren't his, that that's going to satisfy him," Biden said in the interview which was broadcast on Wednesday and the BBC said was recorded on Monday.
Trump has changed U.S. policy toward the war in Ukraine, pressing Kyiv to agree to a ceasefire while easing pressure on Russia, which launched a full-scale invasion of its neighbour in 2022. Trump has said he wants to stop the killing. In the interview, Biden expressed concern that "Europe is going to lose confidence in the certainty of America and the leadership of America".Europe's leaders were "wondering, well, what do I do now?... Can I rely on the United States? Are they going to be there?" he said.
The former president said he was dismayed by the explosive meeting in February in the White House between Trump, his top officials and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
"I found it sort of beneath America in the way that took place," Biden said.
From the Department of Tjhey Still Want To Fuck Up The Post Office: The USPS Board of Governors, currently comprised of two Democrats, two Republicans, and an independent
Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, said in a statement Tuesday that "the Trump administration has been relentless in its attempts to privatize America's most trusted institution, both outwardly and behind the scenes. If these reports are true, it is a blatant conflict of interest and an attempt by President Trump to install a handpicked loyalist who he believes will put his interests over what may be best for the Postal Service and the American people. The American people deserve a postmaster general who will stand up for an independent, fair, and accessible Postal Service and who will work with Congress to ensure Americans in all communities nationwide can continue to rely on this public service to deliver mail, medications, ballots, and more without prejudice." The nominee sent to Donnie is David Steiner, who is a member of the Board of Directors for FedEx.
From the Cepartment of Cult Girl Goes After The WSJ: DNI Tulsi Gabbard is hitting back at the WSJ after they published an exclusive report claiming the U.S. has ordered its intelligence agencies to “step up spying on Greenland.” In a statement, Gabbard said, “The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed of aiding deep state actors who seek to undermine the President by politicizing and leaking classified information. They are breaking the law and undermining our nation’s security and democracy.” According to the WSJ, “The island is home to substantial deposits of rare-earth minerals necessary for the production of everything from electric vehicles to wind turbines, as well as untapped oil and natural-gas reserves.”
From the Cdepartment of Donnie Has A Big Mad for “60 Minutes”: Donnie Two Dolls lashed out at "60 Minutes," was nominated for an award based on an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris. Posting on Lies Anti-Social Wednesday, Donnie said that the interview amounted to "election interference" and "turned out to be much worse than expected." He claimed Harris's answers were "unlawfully fixed, manipulated, and doctored throughout by CBS, in order to try and make Kamala appear at least somewhat coherent." According to him, the full transcript showed "that the 'interview' was nothing but fake, corrupt, anti-Trump propaganda. On top of that, in a total slap in the face to anyone who believes in TRUTH and Honest Journalism, this Fake News Puff Piece has now been nominated for an award by the totally discredited Emmys," he griped. "Did 60 Minutes and its Corporate Parents apply to get an Emmy for an illegally falsified interview, or did other Fake Outlets nominate them for this dubious 'honor'?" he asked. "These antics are why the American People have no trust in the Press, and demand that the Media, very much including 60 Minutes, CBS, and its owners, be held responsible for their corruption and lies, which is exactly what we are doing in Court!" (FACT CHECK: No, they didn’t you senile old liar.)
From the Department of Donnie Wants To Bring Back Segregation: Maladministration II is trying to reshape how schools discipline students – and alter the federal government’s role in the process. On April 23, 2025, PINO issued an executive order suggesting schools have been using racially discriminatory discipline policies. It sets in motion new federal guidance that would reverse policies supported by the Obama and Biden administrations aimed at reducing racial disparities in how Black children and other students of color are disciplined in school. School discipline has historically been locally controlled, though federal law does mandate a few disciplinary responses, such as expulsion for possessing firearms. School boards create codes of conduct. School principals and teachers make and enforce rules. Federal guidance over the past decade has increasingly shaped these local decisions. The new executive order sets the stage for further federal influence over discipline policy and practices. Here’s a breakdown of what it contains. First, schools should no longer focus on differences in rates of discipline across subgroups.Doing so has led to schools failing to report incidents and making decisions based on students’ race rather than objective facts. It requires a report on “the status of discriminatory- equity-ideology-based” school discipline, with an aim of preventing its use. The report is to provide model policies that the order claims will uphold “American values and traditional virtues” and provide examples of discipline not based on “equity ideology.”
From the Department of Take That (whap!) Donnie:: At least 10 cast members from Les Misérables are planning to boycott Donnie’s attendance at the Kennedy Center next month. Lead actors as well as ensemble members are among those refusing to perform on the night of June 11, when the president is set to headline a fundraiser for the center and attend a performance of the musical, which is one of his longtime favorites. The cast was reportedly given the option not to perform that night. “The Kennedy Center is in tremendous disrepair,” Dpnnie said during his first visit to the center as chair in March. “We’re gonna make a lot of changes including the seats, the decor … pretty much everything. It needs a lot of work.” He proceeded to tout all the ways he hoped to remake the center in his own image, namely by staging “non-woke” musicals like Les Misérables and honoring more conservative stars. A leaked recording of the meeting revealed specifically the shows he deemed as “non-woke,” which mostly consist of Broadway staples like Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats” and “Phantom of the Opera.” He also expressed his fondness for Broadway’s golden era, insisting that staging “Broadway hits” would be best for the center’s bottom line.In response to Donnie’s hostile takeover, artists including Issa Rae, Shonda Rhimes and Ben Folds resigned from their leadership roles at the center, and Jeffrey Seller, producer of the hit musical Hamilton, canceled the show’s upcoming run. But the Les Misérables cast’s boycott might cut a little deeper.
From the Department of The Corruption Continues: Plans are underway for a new Trump Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Maladministration II claims the deals do not represent a conflict of interest because the president’s assets are held in trust and managed by his sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr. But the deals will generate millions of dollars for the Trump family, with some benefits flowing directly to the president.
From the Department of Donnie Gets Slapped In Court Again: For the last 48 hours, the media has been reporting that Maladministration II was preparing to send migrants to Libya in violation of an existing court order requiring that migrants be provided “meaningful opportunity” to contest such deportations. It appears thatDHS was seeking to evade the existing order by transferring the migrants to the custody of DOD, which was not a party to the existing preliminary injunction. Judge Murphy wrote: “The Court agrees with Plaintiffs that this motion should not be required, as the relief sought is already provided by the Preliminary Injunction entered in this case. Accordingly, the Court construes Plaintiffs’ motion as one for clarification. The Department of Homeland Security may not evade this injunction by ceding control over non-citizens or the enforcement of its immigration responsibilities to any other agency, including but not limited to the Department of Defense. If there is any doubt—the Court sees none—the allegedly imminent removals . . . would clearly violate this Court’s Order.” His order clarified that the removal of the migrants to Libya (or any other nation) is currently blocked by an existing order issued by Judge Murphy.
And here’s the good news for today:
From the Department of There’s An American Pope: There’s an American Pope now, Leo XIV, and he’s not a far right nutbag like the Irish Gang back east. In fact - he’s a liberal! Cardinal Robert Prevost, 69 - now known as Pope Leo XIV - was named as the first leader of the Catholic church to come from America this morning Born in Chicago, Prevost spent much of his career serving as a missionary in Peru. He was made a cardinal by Pope, Francis, just two years ago. He was a strong supporter of his predecessor. For the past two years, he has worked in the Vatican choosing priests that should serve as Bishops across the world. In a signal that he supports work done by Pope Francis to bring more liberal ideology to the Vatican, he said in 2023, "Our work is to enlarge the tent and to let everyone know they are welcome inside the Church.” The new pope is no fan of President Trump or Vice President Vance. He criticized Vance for his “incorret theology” that one’s personal likes come before caring for others, saying “Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others." and criticized Trump last month for his “demonization of immigrants.”
The new pope is also known for supporting science and giving communion to divorced people. The far right Uber Catholics in MAGA are about to be surprised. Laura Loomer was one of few in MAGA world who saw that Pope Leo XIV was supportive of immigrants. She called it "gross." She also called him a "MARXIST POPE!" after finding a tweet from the now-pope showing his support of praying for George Floyd. MAGA influencer Jack Posobiec warned MAGA that the new Pope did not "bode well" for them.Following the election of Pope Leo XIV, Posobiec shared his thoughts in a broadcast from Rome on Real America's Voice. “Absolute shock. What I'm seeing from his social media does not bode well for Trump supporters. Because we're seeing things here where he's attacking JD Vance and not years ago, very recently promoting anti-Trump and anti-Bukele articles regarding the deportations of criminal illegals to the United States. He was attacking that less than three weeks ago." Maybe the new pope will excommunicate a few of them, to make his point known.

As for the deportations
to these horrible places
the immigrants didn't
come from? The cruelty
is the bottom line and
Stephen Miller wrote it
and signed it.
Can someone explain why the US is looking to “deport” undocumented immigrants to prisons in third countries? I thought the whole concept of deportation was that these individuals would be returned to their home countries. Instead Trump and his minions want to send them to ghastly prisons for life in unstable countries where human rights abuses are legion.
