In his trial, he said: “Those are terrible things to say. Of course. I shouldn’t say those things. What this shows is not success, but rather the fact that international trade is slowing to a stop, which is a major step toward Great Depression II, as the Smoot-Hawley Tariffs were in Great Depression I.) Question: can Larry Kudlow balance his own checkbook?

Professional Asshole cosplaying as EPA “administator” Lee Zeldin has announced the EPA will try to claw back $7 billion doled out by the Biden administration to provide rooftop solar power in disadvantaged communities. Under the program, money was distributed to 60 entities including states, nonprofits, tribes and local governments to use as part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act to fund subgrantees who would help get the solar energy installed. Zeldin posted on Xitter Thursday that he intends to end the program, known as Solar for All, “for good, saving US taxpayers ANOTHER $7 BILLION!”

Yesterday, COMINCHEAT ordered the Commerce Department to initiate a new census, escalating the redistricting battles. The census, like redistricting, typically happens at the start of each decade. COMINCHEAT’s order for a new census comes as Texas seeks to redraw its district lines ahead of the 2026 midterm elections in an effort to produce more favorable results for Republicans.He emphasized that those in the country illegally will not be counted in the new census, underscoring GOP complaints that Democrats are over-represented in Congress because of the millions of illegal immigrants who have entered the country. The U.S. Constitution requires a census be conducted every 10 years, with the data used to determine how many House seats are allotted and how much money is apportioned to the states. This move will face significant legal hurdles. The 14th Amendment says “whole numbers of persons in each state” must be included in the census and the Supreme Court ruled in 2020 that a citizenship question could not be included. He won’t get a new census, but he probably knows that. The Census stunt is all about feeding red meat to his base because the Epstein scandal is dragging him down. It would take three years to organize such a thing if he did get support from the Unsupreme Court.

Sorry, but killing a minimum of 61,000 Palestinians (other reports say 100,000) as payback for the deaths of 1,200 Israelis does not compute with the concept of “fairness” that is one of the most important points of Judaism. Yesterday, U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams suspended construction at the “Alligator Alcatraz” immigration detention center in Florida for two weeks as opponents pursue claims it doesn’t comply with a bedrock federal environmental law. She issued the temporary order after a two-day hearing in her Miami courtroom. It prevents filling, paving, lighting and installation of additional infrastructure, though ICE can still detain migrants at the facility. The Center for Biological Diversity and Friends of the Everglades sued in late June to stop the construction, claiming the project runs afoul of the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). The statute requires the federal government to consider environmental consequences before approving major infrastructure projects. The federal government has cast Alligator Alcatraz as a state operation where NEPA doesn’t apply. The Collection of Idiots Who Found Their Law Licenses in a Box of Cracker Jacks, aka the InJustice Department, also asserts that Williams’ court is the wrong venue, because Alligator Alcatraz is located elsewhere in Florida.

A detainee says he witnessed guards groping and assaulting his tent-mates, according to a recorded phone call obtained by Status Coup. He said he also fears it is only a matter of time before detainees begin dying in custody there. “This has to come out one way or another because they’re going to kill us here, little by little,” the man, a Cuban national, says in the recording. “No one pays attention to us. I’ve been here for 30 days, seeing injustice and mistreatment—it doesn’t stop. They abuse us in every way, with the food, in the bathroom, everything, everything.” The man said he feels “violated” by guards, whom he described as “inexperienced, racist, and power hungry.” He claimed guards have stepped on the hands of some detainees and kicked others while they were handcuffed.“They touch us all—our groins, our asses to see if we’ve brought cookies, a little piece of fries, and they take it,” he said, according to Satus Coup. “They search us, they touch us a lot, they search and touch our whole bodies in a weird way. We feel violated. I feel violated.” A former guard at Alligator Alcatraz, identified only as “Lindsey,” told NBC Miami this week that the facility—made up of massive tents erected on an abandoned airstrip—was akin to an “oversized kennel.” “It’s inhumane the way that they’re keeping their residents.” “They have no sunlight. There’s no clock in there. They don’t even know what time of the day it is. They have no access to showers. They shower every other day or every four days. ... The bathrooms are backed up because you got so many people using them.” Yes, it really is Alligator Auschwitz.

In their latest episode that aired last Wednesday, South Park gutted ICE Cruella de Ville, depicting Kristi Noem as a glammed-up ICE agent who loved posing for photos, killing puppies, using botox, and arresting anyone who appears Hispanic. Stephen Moore came over and regaled reporters with the story of how “I had some very good news from some new data that we've been able to put together that no one has ever seen before.” (That’s because it never existed before) Moore said that the “new data” “shows that over the last two years of the Biden administration, the BLS overestimated job creation by 1.5 million jobs.” To which COMINCHEAT said “It might not have been an error. That's the bad part. It was an error. It would be one thing. I don't think it's an error. I think they did it purposely, but even if it wasn't purposefully. It's incompetence.” (Incompetence being a subject on which he is an expert). Moore went on. “We have access to some data that no one else does on what has happened month by month with median household income. This is based on unpublished Census Bureau data. It will be released sometime in the next six months, but we get an advanced look at it.” What is it? “In his first five months in office, starting in January through the end of June, the average median household income adjusted for inflation for the average family in America is already up $1,174. That's a key, an incredible number just came out. Just came out.” (It’s definitely “incredible” as in, not something which can be seen as credible.) How were these numbers compiled, and what is their context? The dog and pony show made sure not to get into any specifics, only that things are wonderful. The man convicted of business fraud added, “ So that's a giant gain. And if I would’ve said this, nobody would've believed in vision. There's your number. You are doing well.” (These are great numbers, Deutsche Bank, no give me my below-rate loan.) Yes, a cherry-picked number without any context to tell us we’re doing fine, even though prices are skyrocketing, the job market sucks, and the economy seems to be eroding with each passing day. Welcome to the world of Trumponomics. Where data flows on command out of that ginormous fat ass, just like shit.

Let the Show Trials continue: The InJustice Department has opened an investigation into the Office of New York Attorney General Letitia James, who brought a successful civil fraud case against COMINCHEAT. The probe was launched by by federal prosecutors, launched by John A. Sarcone III, the illegally-appointed fascist cosplaying as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York, who issued two subpoenas seeking information related to James’s case against the Trump Organization as well as another brought against the NRA. An attorney for James confirmed the inquiry, characterizing it as weaponization by the Department of InJustice in a statement by attorney Abbe Lowell: “Investigating the fraud case Attorney General James won against President Trump and his businesses has to be the most blatant and desperate example of this administration carrying out the president’s political retribution campaign. Weaponizing the Department of Justice to try to punish an elected official for doing her job is an attack on the rule of law and a dangerous escalation by this administration. If prosecutors carry out this improper tactic and are genuinely interested in the truth, we are ready and waiting with the facts and the law.” The second subpeona is to a case James brought against the NRA, arguing it failed to properly administer its charitable organization. That judgment included $6.35 million in penalties for NRA leaders.

COMINCHEAT couldn’t resist praising himself at a Purple Heart Day ceremony yesterday, reminding the crowd that the minor injuries he suffered during last year’s (faked) assassination attempt weren’t “easy” for him either.
