Anthropologist Ashley Montague wrote that it's the role of the female of all species to "civilize" males. Tall task, ladies, but being "dangerous" may help.
I doubt any subscribers here need educating, but they very well might have friends/family/neighors/coworkers who do, so for them, here's a nice explainer of what being in NATO offers the US. It's about 12 minutes long.
Thanks for all this information, especially what feloniousdeleriousdon is doing. So he made 8 billion$ getting 8 countries to join his peace club. 🤮🤬🤪🤡💩🎃
It appears to me that many of my senior friends have disengaged. My husband who agrees with my viewpoints refuses to tolerate discussion of the subject at all. Now I know this must be what the Germans did. It’s a question that has long puzzled me but has now been answered. I also know why they did it because except for making calls and standing on corners there is really no role for the public except as voters (IF they vote).
Jessica Craven says this about ICE funding: "ICE is going to remain funded with a 75B dollar slush fund regardless of what Democrats do today. It’s complicated and there’s a lot to unpack but essentially we are aiming for harm reduction here, not abolition.
How’s the harm reduction going? It’s a mixed bag. For one thing, Democrats submitted an amendment that would simply prevent ICE or DHS from detaining or deporting American citizens. It was the one amendment Republicans accepted. Late last night Stephen Miller insisted it be stripped from the bill."
Somehow, at this present time, for the US to allocate FOUR BILLION Dollars additional US aid to Israel - much of it military aid (for what? bombing how many countries? When Israel's GDP exceeds 80% of our congressional districts! Couldnt that money do more good here?
""U.S. boosts Israel aid in 2026: New 2026 State Department and Pentagon bills allocate $4.02 billion in additional U.S. aid to Israel, according to analysis by Stephen Semler, despite Israel’s GDP per capita exceeding that of roughly 80% of U.S. congressional districts. The package includes $3.3 billion in military aid, $702.5 million more via Pentagon funding for missile defense and related programs, and $14.6 million in economic aid. Conversely, the U.S. has banned funding for UNRWA and conditioned Palestinian assistance on strict compliance with U.S. political priorities. By 2026, total U.S. aid to Israel will reach an estimated $352 billion since the state’s inception, including $263 billion in military aid, adjusted for inflation.""
The world is not what it was when you woke up this morning. Couldn’t be more true. Yet, we shop, we watch sports, watch entertainment like it can soothe the soul. We ignore the seismic shift taking place beneath our feet. But the rumble can be felt, barely at first…
So glad you escaped a lengthy stretch in Huntsville. We may wind up there yet with these bozos.
Move-on. What a waste of good intentions. I was involved with them way back 20+ years ago. Worked my ass off for them, I was promised to be paid for my 'leadership,' in the GOTV for Kerry campaign. Never got a dime. I'm surprised they're still around.
As a white liberal woman, I’m proud to join many of you as the most dangerous people in America.
This is news? It's something I've known since the 60s.
I kind of always knew this!

The Guardian reports the White House altered a DHS photo to show the woman arrested bawling instead of calm. It darkened her skin, too. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/22/white-house-ice-protest-arrest-altered-image?
Thank you, TC. We have lots of work to do in Indiana. I have a zoom meeting shortly! Action is needed.
Is the reference to Killeen, Texas in regard to the Oleo Strut?
