"Abrego Garcia should be held no longer,” Xinis wrote in a 341 page opinion." THREE HUNDRED & FORTY ONE fckng PAGES necessary to prove the fckng OBVIOUS. Garcia should be given a medal of valor for his statesmanship in the face of such evil.
The best part about the polling is it's only going to get worse. The economy is not going to improve in 2026, and the stock market might crash yet, and those numbers will a lot worse if/when that happens.
"Colombia President Gustavo Petro is an illegal drug leader"... just waiting to be charged, and then pardoned, like that guy from Honduras.
For once we get through this - and I have to believe we will or there would be no point - let’s start imagining what we will do to become the nation we should be and should have been all along.
The one major reform is that we can no longer depend on "good character" and "precedent" to maintain the system. And there need to be more qualification for being president than being native born and 35+. "Everybody can be president" is now something we can no longer afford. We have to have qualifications that prevent Trumps from even stepping up for a run. Also no "We're going to move on and deal with the future." This time, they have to be arrested and tried for their crimes.
Many people leave their TVs on with CNN in the background. If CNN is silently giving the cryptlike cold shoulder to Stephen Miller, it's a public service. His face and voice alone make people's pets yowl and run in circles and make children run and hide, which is all that reasonable people need to know about him. That birds also drop from the sky when he's interviewed on the White House lawn is also telling.
If/when the Dems get a majority, they'd better have the mop and bucket ready for the massive cleanup in Aisle Trump. They need to be setting priorities for healing a sick and wounded nation, including addressing voting rights, and all human rights, due process for the cretin agency heads and deputies that have turned the US into a streetwalker on the world stage and a supporter of war criminals. We just aren't that wholesome and reliable any longer, and as Tom pointed out, it may take eons to get our mojo back, made tougher by this administration pimping for our adversaries. The Danes are sounding the warning.
Finally, I ask myself this question every day: If the US is struck by terrorists again--and who knows what form it might take--we're cooked. Trump and Hegseth will look more dim than W did when he got the message about the attack while reading to school children. The only thing we can count on is that it will be blamed on Biden and wokeness. The Stalwart Six would know what to do.
"We are going to be the international pariah that cannot be trusted to keep our word for the next few decades." And that's only if we shit can the lot of them.

I certainly hope so. Nuremberg 2.0.

Somewhere on their 'to do list', I'd like to see the impeachment of at least two Supremes.................

A political party uses blackmail, threats of violence, swatting, and legal attacks on the opposition…
I’m sure that they are praying to the God that they embarrass every day, to smite their enemies.
Think about that. Only cult depravity could support such
We are not the crazy ones
We are not the crazy ones
We are not the crazy ones
WE are NOT the crazy ones
(Soundtrack in my head is playing a song from over 40 years ago "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring.)
Whew...good thing it's a slow day. Thanks for the rundown Tom.
