I must list myself amazed at the number of people who have signed up for free e-mails here in the past 24 hours. There’s been 58, according to Substack! And there’s more since that notice. I can’t figure out what I did, but there’s a genuine crowd who have just pushed their way into the clubhouse.
I shall endeavor to do more than live up to your expectations, since if I do and you all decide to become paid subscribers, I won’t be able to keep complaining that everything goes up these days except my income.

You hit a tipping point. That's all. Word of mouth is like that. Just keep writing about the things that make you feel passionate. It will keep growing.
Maybe it is because some of your readers have mentioned you in other Substack letters. I like the tell it as it is style of your writing and the vocabulary I use 💥
