Truly, “if my thought dreams could be seen, they’d put my head in a guillotine” as regards the Unsupreme “Court’ and the Scummy Six.
After a week like this, there was only one movie I could think of to watch, and fortunately it was for sale on at Warner Brothers for a whole $8, permanent ownership of the digitally restored director’s cut. All 2 hours and 25 minutes of greatness.
“The Wild Bunch.”
And it was good and it was satisfying. Truly great, a film today’s Hollywood couldn’t make because they couldn’t find the talent to conceive such work or carry it through to completion.
Pike: “Deke gave his word!”
Dutch: “To a railroad! That’s not the point! It’s who you give your word to!!”
Pike: “Let’s go.”
Lyle: “Why not?”
Have a good Fourth. I’m going flying with the Condor Squadron at “magic hour” and then sitting down to some good barbecue.

To be honest, I was thinking of watching “Mr.Smith goes to Washington”. I want the anesthetic of a feel good movie where bad people try to kill themselves and perseverance pays off.
