Maybe el Lardo has finally realized that he was snookered by Bibi, who played him like a fiddle into stepping into the big steaming pile of doggie doo that is the Middle East by attacking Iran. When a conman gets conned, hell hath no fury, etc. But like Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby, there’s no way to get out of the mess trump got himself into without admitting he got taken and for a colossal malignant narcissist like him, he can’t do that, so the world’s economy is going down big time really soon. Interesting times, right?

I read many Republicans who are still fans of Springsteen, but not his politics, are afraid of going to his concerts and being outed to the cult.

To add…The concert was in Tampa,Hillsborough County which is Republican-dominant.The city itself has more Dem voters but unlike Orlando,is not considered a blue metro as Dem/Repub totals not that disparate.

'Stan Soloway, a former deputy undersecretary of defense, posted: “Does Trump know that building a strong intel infrastructure is not about buildings?”' Love that.

Pulte's a dick. His grandfather was offered $20 million after the '67 riots to rebuild Detroit and stop "White Flight." He refused. After he promised his dad, on his deathbed, that he wouldn't leave Michigan (Detroit), he left for Atlanta. He was under investigation in both the Bush and Obama administrations for building substandard housing, even in affluent areas. Hell, you and I know more about intelligence then he ever will.

My first thought when I learned that the president had appointed Bill Pulte as DNI was "he's running out of people to appoint".

Thank you TC, for TAFM today. I agree with Peggy! Hopefully, after next week you will feel much better. I hate waiting! About "intelligence experience" since none of them have it....they have no idea what it is! Yeah, for Pelly.... what a bunch of losers! CBS has much to be desired...thanks to Trump and the Republicans! And, Yeah for Chris Robinson! Way to go! And, Benjamin is cute! I wonder what team he was for???? Have a good evening....it is almost hump day! Geeee.

Let's all keep pressure on our elected officials, particularly those in the House and Senate, over the "get out of jail free" thing that Maladministration II has manufactured with the IRS. That is a prize well worth keeping our eyes on!

Good idea.

So Minnesota Republicans have revealed themselves as racial Chauvinists. Not a pretty picture.

The party disowned the moment of silence in a vote today. Shutting the brn door after the horse is gone.

Long gone and ridden hard.

And so it goes. Doggo has the right idea…

I am so sorry that happened to you. Warmest wishes for next week. Can you provide background on why the FA red crowd came to a concert and “boo”ed the band? No comprendo. You spoke to a couple other issues in this article that I know no references for in this issue.

Many people who went on to become Trumpers were Black Crowes fans. They can't stand when a group moves on from them. Like right wing former Springsteen fans. What are the other things needed explanation?

Kathy Hughes's avatar

I have always enjoyed Springsteen, and can’t stand the Orange Menace.

Tom, I had no idea who the Black Crowes so wondered the same thing. ALSO, those "ticket buyers" (I assume) didnt know this band had moved on? Good for Robinson! He told it like it is!!!

Thanks, as always, Tom. But especially, thanks for the paragraph on Scott Pelley and CBS News.

Of course Pelley, Simon, Vega, Alfonsi, and everyone will land on their feet. That's not the point. The point is, CBS, CBS News, and 60 Minutes are all being killed, slowly and cruelly... and yes, rudely, before our eyes.
